...I was a bit unclear with the .btt file that I also sent you...
It wasn't unclear at all.
We undermeant what you stood.

I was so glad to get this.
Frank put so much time and love into it and I will enjoy every bit of it for many hours to come.
Hope we can persuade him to create more down the line.

That is fantastic news.
We cannot thank you enough for your efforts.

I miss Rexford (Lorrin Bird from the above referenced WWII Ballistics)

Thanks. That makes perfect sense.
You're welcome!

Not a bug per se. But I just noticed in my set-up for the second battle in the CMDF Sottish Campaign that the British tanks and Bren carriers all look like US tanks with the big white stars. Is that the correct paint job for the vehicles?
Yes, from 44 on, the British also used the white 5 pointed star to make aerial recognition of allied vehicles easier and more consistent.

Last year I played a few of the Italian scenarios PBEM with my army buddy and I won every single time thanks to those beautiful little mortars.
They are truly amazing, especially against the uninitiated.

The Pershings typically had some T33 HVAP rounds to use for big cats.
I'm surprised that's not in this module.

Now THAT'S an update.

I tend to feel that balance has always been seriously overrated in game design. I'm perfectly capable of having fun while taking a beating from a stronger opponent (desperation and despair can be a lot of fun in a simulated environment), or ruthlessly crushing a weaker one (indulging in a power fantasy is also fun)...
100% agree.
I very much enjoy uneven battles for the challenges they bring.

Humility is one of the most underrated characteristics in this life.
The hours of enjoyment you've brought so many of us in this community with the content you've created is beyond measure.
You are very worthy of praise and I, for one, thank you for all that you do. You're one of the all time CM greats!

All of us that have communicated with Mr. X to receive his Battlepack know full well there is nothing monetary involved and I'm sure Elvis will get it sorted quickly.

And nobody produced more late war equipment variants than the Germans
Of course it was never produced, but I'm going to keep dreaming of E series panzers in CM.

Maybe we should but I don't think there would be enough time to do it before the module is released.
That sounds encouraging.

I suspect it is.
I notice it in my professional life with younger people. Requires a whole different approach based around very short snappy chunks of info! Still too much text on these old books and you can’t interact with anything
Very much so.
I hire about 400 lifeguards every summer and though we have some as old as 62, the vast majority are teens and 20's and it gets worse every year.
2 line emails have to be sent 4 times to get most of them to read it and so on.

Its interesting this approach still resonates in more modern military manuals, guess attention spans of teens has not changed that much in 80 odd years...!
If anything, I'd guess it's worse now.

Fixed. Thank you.
Just FYI, Volkssturm is spelled Volksstrum on the TO&E page.

Last year was a good example of no plan survives contact with the enemy (Real Life™ in this case).
I'd be willing to bet that the 25th year of CM will be pretty damn good. A pre-order is an excellent start.
I know I'm thankful that they're going to keep doing what they do for the foreseeable future.

Wow, the starship bounced one!
-
We very much hope you do!

It looks absolutely fantastic!

Those last 2 map pics look very much like a real place™.

I thought it was fun to fire up the scenario and read the briefing.
A readme.txt is certainly easy, but I appreciate that he put his thoughts and process into scenario form.
