  1. How about asking for an ETA on CMx2C?
  2. So many one liner replies, so little time. *grin*
  3. You haven't been a member long enough to complain about the release date for this particular title. *grin*
  4. Well now that would depend on how long ago he threw it out, wouldn't it? *grin*
  5. I only use tactics from the TV show "Combat!" The only downside is that you always end up in the same French village. *sigh*
  6. I noticed when the patch was first posted, one of the sites pointed the Paradox link to the same patch as the BFC link. (I have both versions of the game so I tried to get both patches. FWIW, I have two versions, because I couldn't pass up the Paradox version for $7.00 for a backup that needs no internet to install in the distant future, when the web licensing is long gone. I still play and reinstall games from the 80's occasionally, so I distrust the longevity of any online reliances)
  7. So a few did work. That means that not every single hummer speedo should be inop! BFC, please fix or do somefink.
  8. I hope it will work with DOS 3.2!
  9. The funny thing about the comic itself is that I just watched almost the exact same scenario in the movie "Sharpe's Challenge" (except of course, you'd have to replace the tank commander with Sir Henry Simmerson)
  10. The Army's long awaited response to the Air Force's F-16/Lawn Dart program was not completely successful.
  11. Is this abuse? No! Seems to be an argument clinic. I assume abuse is down the hall (I was a bit confused by Yankeedog's "please spank me post").
  12. I was looking for the clarifcation, not an apology per se'. In the context of being the only "Mr. -E" who "posted earlier" in this thread, my confusion should be readily understandable. Thanks.
  13. Not sure what you meant by that or even how you got that out of it, but if you look again, that price I quoted was for my SECOND copy. The first copy was a pre-order price from here. (I will however admit I didn't want to pay the full original price again just for a backup). ------------------------------------------------ Edit - The above posts (which came in while I was on the phone in the middle of my reply) indicate I may not have been the target of the mud-slinging. However in the context of being the only "Mr. -E" to post earlier in this thread, I believe "Mr. Moon" should clarify which "Mr. -E" he did mean. ------------------------------------------------ [ May 19, 2008, 09:37 AM: Message edited by: -E ]
  14. Damn. My second copy cost $7.98 (which was the paradox version) a few months ago. I assumed it was a mismarking until I happened into the same store a couple of weeks ago and they still had a stack of them unsold.
  15. Hamstertruppen! Those guys were here first! (curiosity... anybody still have the Hamstertruppen CM Unit Portraits installed?)
  16. And here I thought BTS was picking up steam! Now I find out they're running out of steam so badly that players are recommending they look at a steamworks engine?!?! *ack*
  17. You mean it's not a realistic portrayal of the hypothetical Syrian-American War? [ April 08, 2008, 11:39 PM: Message edited by: -E ]
  18. I for one, am happy that you're starting in the West in order to perfect the system a bit before turning east. To the real game.
  19. It's not the "Congressional Medal of Honor." It is the "Medal of Honor."
  20. If I remember correctly, a company called BTS was going to do something along those lines. *grin*
  21. It's official. CMSF has "made it." This thread is all the proof a potential buyer needs if still sitting on the proverbial fence.
  22. Let CMC's experience be a lesson to all of you... make a living will while you still can!!!
