A winterized version of the Challenger has been made by Daedalus the Flyer.
You can find it here:
ftp://ftp.combatmission.com/Combat_Missions/mods/allied%20mods/challenger/

I have a winter Cromwell version by an unknown author, but it uses stock BTS graphics.
IIRC, AndrewTF is working on a HiRes Cromwell version, which might include a winter version.

Got it.
"Neubaufahrzeug"
roughly translated as "newly constructed vehicle".
IIRC, it was a deceptive description to hide Germans plan for building tanks.
Update
Here's a link with some pics:

(from "Tanks in World War II": http://www.military.cz/panzer/indeng/tankeng.htm )

You may have a look at Pawbroon's excellent MODs & MODers site.
URL: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pawbroon/
He has started to show detailed information and pics of all available mods for a specific tank.

As long as you're familiar with it, almost every paint program will do it.
IIRC, one mod-maker did even use MS Paint

Apache,
this winterized Panther is a very old mod.
It was released in February 2001 and has a size of 2 MB. File name: pantherg_winter.zip

Was the game ended by cease-fire, surrender or auto-surrender ??
I've encountered ~somefink~ similar in two of my games:
1) A 4,2inch FO was credited with a Panther kill, but the enemy Panther was still alive when the game was ended by a cease-fire.
2) A 251/1 was chasing an enemy mortar, but the opponent auto-surrendered before a kill could be achieved. When looking at the AAR screen, the 251/1 got the credit for the kill.
I think I have a possible explanation for this bug:
"Abnormal" game ends like cease-fires, surrenders or auto-surrenders are resolved AFTER the next game turn (including kills) is calculated, but BEFORE that movie is displayed. Would mean that those surplus kills are kills that were calculated to happen within the next 60 seconds.
For my examples from above this might be true: The FO was executing a barrage on the location of the Panther and the 251/1 was aiming its MG at the mortar.
Maybe Steve, Charles or Madmatt could give you some help ?

The German version does definitely not have a MOD CD. IIRC, the UK version will have a mod CD. At least there was some statement some days ago here in the forum.

Same style update available for the Pershing:
ftp://ftp.combatmission.com/combat_missions/mods/tigers%20mods/pershing/m26_graphic_update.ZIP

25MB for jpg-files
No ads or text messages on/over/below your pics.
Example:
-
Affennt...
"Officer in charge of squadron anti-aircraft missile maintenance"
I guess it must be something like:
FlAbwRakGeschwInstOffz
long title:
Flugabwehrraketengeschwaderinstandsetzungsoffizer
-
Affent...
you can stretch that "Donau.."-thingie even more:
"Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitänspatentinhaber"
Quite unusual, but grammatically correct.
Translates as: "Holder of a captains patent of the Donau Steamship Company"

Had to do a little research but here's the answer:
wheat: DD's subdued terrain set
(files 634-639 from ddaddterr.zip)
grass:
hires part (files 1550-1569): Gunnergoz' realgrass set
lores part (files 1500-1519): DD' subdued (ddlowresgrass.zip)
Hope that helps

I'm afraid,no.
In contrast to the US version of CM, where in-game text are 'visible' in the source code as plain ASCII characters, CDV has encrypted parts of the source code to prevent such attempts.
IIRC, one guy experimented with a RAM resident patch, but I can't remember if he had success with it.
