I thought I only gave a generic description of the battle. The problem is in a Russian attack, German Defense, the AI Russians just sat back for 30 turns and the scenario ended with a German Total Victory. I hope this is not the case with the rest of the battles.. Any ideas? It might be realistic for a company not to advance but then what is the objective of this battle? Do I just keep clicking "GO" 30 times and get a Total Victory? Weird.

Just played the battle "Pop Gun and Elephants". This is a Russian attack on the German position. I played the German side. By hiding all my troops for an ambush when the Russians are within firing range, the Russian tanks and troops never advanced. I fired a few mortar shots but nothing. The Russians refused to close the distance and in 30 turns, I got a Total Victory! This can't be right, no? Shouldn't the AI Russians try to advance towards the Victory flags? All in all, I fired few machine guns and mortars. Nothing. Russians came out of the trees and just sat there and didn't advance. YouRei

I have success with 12.81 and Win ME. FSAA 4x works fine. I don't have to hit ESC or anything. Great!

Do you have FSAA enabled? With Nvidia drivers, this happens. The only way I know of fixing it is not to use FSAA or use the old drivers. (6.31?) YouRei

What is your AGP rate set to? On my machine, 2x agp freezes the game. 1x is much more stable. I have the Nvidia GEFORCE 256 card. YouRei

I thought somewhere in my readings, the Free French army actually took the time to paint French colors onto the US tanks, etc for patriotic reasons. Also, now that I know French uses the same American textures in CM, I feel better knowing that I didn't screw up with all these mods out there... YouRei

In a mission (Walk in Paris), the French army is in American uniform and the Sherman tanks have American stars on them. Is this historically correct? I know at the end of the war, free French army existed, but did they use American uniforms and colors? Regards, YouRei

Have you tried lowering your Nvidia video card to 1x agp? How about turning sidebanding off? This worked for me. YouRei
