As poesel71 asks, will this file have to be downloaded all over again with each new version of Drop Team? Or will there be patches for it?Will the dds files be updated as normal? And how do you make those files?-Sho

See? Didn't I say so?The issue is now fixed in the 1.2.1 release (will download automatically when you run DropTeam). Will post release notes and details soon-Sho

I'm sure they are. They've a good track record for straightening things out. I'll just be patient. My guess is the devs are on top of this one, and we'll see a fix before long.-Sho

I noticed this as well. It played fine in the beginning of the scenario but then it started to get worse.Gameplay has suddenly become very choppy. The vehicle I was controlling seemed to move in spurts and was near uncontrollable.
Again, I had this very same problem for some reason.Dropping a unit onto the battlefield was very buggy. I received weird messages like, "Unable to drop unit while currently a passenger" - something like that. I didn't know what it was talking about. It took several attempts before my Paladin finally showed up in the game. With these problems, I was beginning to think it was just me.

Great!I've seen them tip like you're describing in some situations, especially low gravity, and we'll definitely try to improve it.-Sho

...and while we're on the subject of Dropships, does anyone else notice that when they land to do whatever, they seem to tip over a lot?
I mean think about it, in the far future you'd think the dropships would be able to compensate for the different gravities of planets.
Still though, that aside, Dropteam is still a good game.

Hi all! I just downloaded DropZone and I think it has a lot of potential. The gameplay is pretty good however, I've run into something.
In two different scenarios I played, when I called a DropShip in for resupply it couldn't land right. It bounced and landed on it's side.
Is this something that is going to be taken care of?

Thanks, RedWolf! You must be talking about the CH-53 Super Stallions.
Boy, I can't wait for my copy to arrive!

Hello all! I just purchased TacOps 4 today and am definately looking forward to receiving it.
I have a question that I hope someone can answer.
I noticed that amphibious operations can be done. What kind of amphibious craft are available in TacOps? LCACs? Amphibious support ships?
Thanks in advance, and looking forward to multiplaying!

Is anyone running CM with a Voodoo 5500? If so, I'd like to hear what video settings you are you using and the ingame video settings as well. I've been trying to, but when I pick which video mode to use, I can see the Accept button, but the button below it is corrupted. Plus when I do pick a video option, at the main menu of CM..where my cursor is, it leaves blocks behind. Any ideas? Thank you. BTW, I am running DX8 and the latest V5 drivers.

I was with the United States Marine Corps from 1983 - 1988 as a Field Radio Operator with a tracked vehicle battalion.
Was then in the Army National Guard from 1995 - 1998 as a NBC Specialist also in a tracked vehicle battalion.
All in all, I'm still a Marine.
