  1. Normally, the company 1st Sergeant, the Ops NCO and the Company Maintenance NCO along with a driver and TC will ride in a M113A3 as part of the Company HQ element.
  2. I;d like the M113 included in US units as well. There are still many Combat Engineer units that use them, and every mech infantry company still has one as a support vehicle.
  3. I know, right! To make it even MORE complicated, depending what assignments a unit has, they may be authorized to wear more than one combat for one tour. For example, in '03-'04, my signal company was assigned to 22nd Sig Brigade, 1st Corps, and 101st Airborne. On paper I was allowed to wear ANY of their patches as combat patches. In reality I only wore 22nd Sig Brigades, as patches cost money, and I'm cheap!
  4. Brigades still have regular division assignments. For example the 1/16 INF you mentioned would still wear the 3rd INF DIV patch as that's their home division. However, when they hit 30 days in theater, they would be authorized to wear the 82nd OR 3rd ID as a combat patch.
  5. That's not really going to be an issue, as during the game's time frame most of the active military and many Guard and Reserve units would have had tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Although, granted there wouldn't be many Staff Sergeants without combat experience, there WOULD be a lot of Privates and Specialists who did have it.
  6. Being as I'm a greedy old guy, I have one last request for you CPT. Is it possible to have a mixture of your various unit patches on the OTHER sleeve. In the US Army that means a soldier has been deployed in a war zone. Being as the Army has many combat vets serving, this along with a few blank sleeves would add more immersion and visual realism to your excellent mods.
  7. The unmodded US Army uniforms in the game are ACU (Army Combat Uniform), the USMC's are Desert MARPAT.
  8. True, but that's SOP. In Iraq we normally carried as much ammo as we had pouches to put our mags in. For me as a Squad leader that was around 400 rounds and eight 40mm for my M203.
  9. A very over educated one who like all lieutenants, STILL manages to get lost! lol
  10. In the US Army mechanized infantry world, XO's generally handle policing up broken down and battle damaged vehicles, along with arraigning for fuel and ammo resupply. It's the First Sergeant and the senior company medic who deal in casualties and evac.
  11. One small suggestion. The BDU pattern uniforms and the BDU pattern camo covers on the helmets should match as they are literally cut from the same cloth.
  12. Speaking as an Iraq vet. That about hits the nail on the head.
  13. They are ballistic glasses and are required uniform items.
  14. Yes. If you use the target command or area target. The Bradley will use it's TOWs as well as the 25mm cannon.
  15. Sweet! I want to start the Task Force Panther campaign. Need the 82nd for total immersion!
  16. Really nice mod! Would you consider doing 2nd ID and the 82nd Airborne?
