In fact, my us tactic is almost always 3 or more MG Jeeps for recon purpose. Those damn Jeep wins everytime agaist german HT or PSWs, and it is so fast that no AT/Inf gun can hit it.

Jarmo, You are right about the heavy break though tank tactic. But my PaK is intended to ambush the sherman right behind the Churchill . For a few MG42s, all the incoming armor will be forced to button up. There goes all the shermans. I had a game which had an averge of 4:1 tank kill with only 5 5cm PaKs.

1st, has anyone seen the supposely flak gun raise its barrel up to target the incoming enemy aircraft in the game? 2ndly, for a defensive position, I will take a row 5cm PaKs, line them up in the front line rather than a couple 88 flak on a hill back 500 meter. The 88 is just too vulnerable due to its high profile and slow ROF. thoughts?

I thing the game is perfectly fine as it is. Imagine that if you sneak a single squad up to the other end of the map(quite prossible). it doesn't mean that you have control the area. 2ndly, if all the defender exits the defending area = the attacker wins control the area = operation ends. It will take another operation for the counter-attack(not defending anymore).

The major NATO MBTs, such as the new Abrams, Ariete, challenger 2, Leclerc, new Leopard, Mekava, all use 120mm main gun, while all former Soviet MBTs use 125mm main gun. Is there a reason for the 120mm caliberation being so puplar among the westen allys? How about the Soviet 125mm?

Almost all modern MBT use smoothbore main gun. If I am not mistaken, many WW2 tanks use threaded gun with muzzel break. Why? Thanks.
