im also playing stefan if your on the same map as me you ll have no probs from a side assult at the wall .yes i think he has got all hellcats ive just knocked one out with a lynx. two bursts from its 20 mm into the side of his hellcat and it was out of action .good luck with your battle

Thats the tenth sherman ive brewed up today .that makes 50 shermans in 4 weeks. not bad, now lets go for ammo and keep your eyes on the sky .

hey there Speedy ,waffen is north of melbourne . if you drop in for a cold one you will miss your CM arrival .it wont be to far now so start to D/L the Patch and any Mods and extra maps etc .that will keep you busy till CM get to your door.i wish you all the best with it getting there friday cheers mate

i think the fellows at MADMATT MODS could make new Tiles now for CM 1 (maybe they cant im not sure whats involved)thats if they have time and want too.have to agree more tiles would be exellent . i would say all these sugestions and more could make it into CM 2 .trenchs ,gun emplacments ,sandbags ,various pillboxs.battle damaged buildings ( 1 wall or 2 walls etc ) battle damaged tanks etc)all this type of stuff will add futher weight to alraedy the best game around and help map makers . changeing the tile size should be left for CM2 ,but it is a good thing that maps can contain more detail.thus createing new and interesting challanges to gamers and map makers.

hi chad ,im from oz too ,if you like this style of wargame this is the one to get .i guess the wait will only be 2 weeks once they get your payment .this game has broken all the molds as far as ww2 wargameing goes . so i would say its well worth the wait .cheers mate

RZM imports used to have a 15 second live fireing video of the 42.i just looked but its gone now from what i rember it sounded close to whats on the CM game .i think the best way to hear what a real mg sounds like would be get to a re enacting event many have real mg 42 and fire blanks .just a idea

my thoughts are to stay the way they are as all profit/control etc is theres .but going with a big name once you have a hit could also be a good idea, as once you have a hit you can write your own ticket . but one prob is now the big guys know CM is selling well, they can try copy the basic ideas and cut in on CM sales.this is how the music industry works and i would guess the same thing goes on in the games industry.just my thoughts on BTS situation i wish them all the best cheers

i would also say useing BTS way of selling that profit would be very high .no middle man takeing his cut etc etc .and seeing that the engine is done this is important ,we know the interest. a russian front game will have and the work involved will be greatly reduced .just need to make the eye candy and some tweaks here and there.i realy wont be suprised to see the russian front game or addon avaliable for sale in 6 to 8 months adding futher sales and profit to BTS .and dont forget my jungle pack we must beable to get some aussie troops into the war cheers

i think panzer lehr was one of the best units with the latest tanks Tigers panthers that was behind the normandy beachs .more than half of them where wiped out in one bombing raid by 100 or 150 flyingfortress. have a look here i think you will find some good info on d day tigers and assults etc http://www.valourandhorror.com/

never to early to talk about CM2 hope we can have trenchs that we can join to make a large trench system.i also think large and small damaged building would be exellent and add more weight to the game.half buildings .1 wall etc.and sniper verses sniper battles would be fun .just my ideas i can see it now. a destroyed city half buildings everywhere trenchs running the lengh of the city .a wall here, a sniper there .lots of fun everywhere : ) you get the idea cheers

all ill say is the people who PAYED $$$ for there Combat Mission can be Proud that they have helped fund CM 2 russian front,CM 3 etc

sounds good im looking foward to your map .will it be a pc version too or just mac .i agreee with the wheat tiles will be great for sand .i think it can work out this type of assult it will just need to be tested and tweaked to get the play balance correct .you may have to add more troopers to account for losses or more cover .but all up i think its a great idea and may people want a beach assult.i know the PEDG panzer elite dev group are makeing a beach assult .they have models of landing craft etc.its not released yet but i was talking to a fellow who is involved and he said people are going to flip when they see and play it .ill look foward to seeing and playing your map sounds great to me .

i think it best to just keep quiet on this stuff .i know it a pain ,but it happens .it will prob be a cut down version and not much good compared to the real thing anyway.shutting these sites down will do nothing they will be back up within hours .you dont need me to go into my warz blurb ,cant stop em ,legal loop holes etc etc .all we can do is pay $ for our copy and help put out the word to others what a amazeing game CM is and go buy a copy .this is the best way for us to support BTS
