Genghis, I got the Elite Edition mod to work by re-appling the 1.06 patch after appling the mod. Hope this helps. Rob

From what I know is that the latest rules are still "beta". Since you emailed him, he will most likely email the current version of the rules to you. Once the rules are more finalized he will probably try and find a more permanent home. Rob W

Bump with some questions. When starting the campaign the division type came up german-mountain. When you select this in the battle generator you are not able to get the core Mot Inf Co. Also how do you suggest rounding the force size for Aux and total force sizes? Example: Aux is 350 pts do you select 400 in the battle generator or do you round down to 300. Total force is 919 do you select 1000 or 900, or is it whatever you happen to feel like at the time? Also a little more explanation may be needed for for force purchases when points are left over, for newbies to the system like me. Rob W

Funny you should bring this up today. I just happened to try this scenario today as the Germans since no indication was made for the prefered side to play. The Russians moved three of their tanks into the open, about 100m, and that was it. No infantry advance what so ever. Rob W

(Repost) Is there any official word on this oddity from BFC? Actually I don't think that this is just a Dell issue. I have a duel PIII 500 that is a self built system that exibits this behavior. Usually when I hit FWD durning a movie playback. I have some screens of the clock oddity. Rob W

Harv, Thanks for the link, I'll try the updated windvd. However, I was experiencing computer lockups with windvd and windows media player when playing the dvd. Rob W

The driver link you provided fixed the transparent text problem for me. - edit - However, I lose DVD support with the new driver, but I hardly use my computer for watching DVD's. I'll have to concur with what MD is seeing. It seems to happen, on my system, when a country surrenders or a country joins the war effort, their flag is shown in the pop-up but no text appears. At first I thought it was FOW thing. This is on my laptop with a 32MB Geforce Go. Rob W

Since the contest has been extended to March 31st, that means that CM:BB will be at least April or May. Although, I would rather wait, and see more rare vehicles put into the game. Rob W
