  1. Heres whats working for me. Move your engineers adjacent to the wall to be blasted. Wait until they have completed their movement, then give the blast order. They will blow the wall, but run around it like its still there. Must be a bug.
  2. The scenarion designer may have emptied all the ammo in that vehicle, so there is nothing to aquire.
  3. Whats the trick to this? My assault guys armed with demo charges do some starnge things when told to blast a wall. Usualy, they try to run around to the other side of the wall. I still havent seen a wall blasted.
  4. The SMAW (AT-4) is already in the game. You guys talking about something different?
  5. I've got 640 Mb of system memory, and a Geforce FX card. Game runs good with the detail level turned down to anything under "better". Just so ya know.
  6. Can this game field an entire infantry company?
  7. Transports should not block any movement by a combat naval unit. (combat naval units should be able to move through, but not land on transports at sea).
  8. How bout it? So my infantry can take cover behind armor. First time I played CM demo, I marched my squads up a road behind my Tiger...legitimate tactic. My squads were wiped out.

  10. Vehicles that block LOS. My infantry still can't use armor as cover. (biggest disapointment playing first demo years ago.) Vehicles can't use wrecks as cover either. [ April 07, 2003, 11:35 AM: Message edited by: Echo ]
  11. Same tired engine with a new OOB. Not very inspiring. Until I can use armor as cover for my advancing infantry, I'm out.
  12. Whats the best settings for "normal" and "thermal" visability to simulate night action? Assume the weather is claer and the moon is full.

  14. I'm not sure wheather its lack of commercial (ie. military) demand, or if its a code limitation that has precluded this from happening. But I would be more than happy to reimberse the Major for his time in developing this. (single player editor)
  15. Somebody slap me for not firing up this demo sooner. Just ordered (Hoo Ra!) a most excellent simulation. Nearest thing I've seen to the old board game "MBT". My brother, who is a Marine armored recon infantryman (LAV) will wet his pants over this when he gets back from Baghdad. How do I get on the mailing list fellas?

  17. Check the casualty settings in the quick battle setup. This will reduce your forces before the battle starts.

  19. I would have planned my attack a bit different as Germans knowing I had reinforcements. Realisticly as a field commander, I would have waited the 10 minutes for all of my units to arrive before commiting to the attack anyway, so as to better coordinate it. Overwhelming guns/manpower is the name of the game, not commiting small units piece-meal. Good scenario, but all the German units should have started on the map. Cya in round 2.

  21. I wonder if that Panther is dug in, or if it is only the turret? The Germans set up turrets as anti-tank guns toward the end. Doh! Nevermind, just saw another pic that shows the hull. [ November 30, 2002, 11:27 AM: Message edited by: Echo ]
