  1. Won't be out today. If they couldnt get it together by noon, there is a problem.
  2. I thought about this one. It needs 10,000 RPGs to be accurate. There are no elevated highway ramps in the editor, its going to be tough to make that intersection.
  3. I don't know anything about this stuff, so this is all just pure speculation.... Don't the host sites that will mirror/host the game patch work 9-5 hours, so the fellas working those servers aren't going to be available tonight to accept/screen/upload the patch on their servers? We won't see it till Saturday morning, or next week.
  4. Sometimes a crewed weapon team (MMG or ATGM) will move, and the weapon will disappear when they reach their destination. The weapon (by itself) appears back at the starting position of the move.
  5. Load up all the Stryker infantry in a MOUT Assault platoon, and one MMG team is left with no ride. (??)
  6. I was talking to my brother who fought in Iraq about using these. He said they had sniper on top of a water tower, and somebody in his unit was setting up a TOW to blast him. He asked him if he was gonna shoot that thousand dollar missle at a sniper..."why not?". The TOW wire got all tangled up in a telephone wire, so the shot missed. They killed him with 25 mike mike.
  7. My brother was just called up from inactive Marine reserves (hes already fought in Iraq). He said some guys in line with him for physicals had 30, 40, and 50 percent disabilities from the VA, and they were all stamped "APPROVED" (for duty)by the doctors. If you can carry a rifle, your fit for duty. (dumb, dumb, dumb)

  9. Great map man, I had a blast on this one. Now go make more maps.
  10. ALT/left click on the building in the 3d preview to change balcony types. Read the manual for campaigns. You don't select the campaign option until all your maps are finished, then that option bundles all your maps into one campaign file.
  11. You can make your own maps, and put them into the QB folder. (I took a peek at some of the stock QB maps and found that a few had incorrect setup zones/AI for the type of battle that they were labeled as (meeting/probe, etc.) Tweak em in the editor. I don't remember which ones they were.
  12. Can two different cell triggermen detonate each others IEDS? The IEDS don't show any attachment in the formation panel to their parent triggerman. So in the editor its impossible to tell which bomb belongs to which triggerman.
  13. Im running on a 1.3mhz CPU with 640 MB RAM, on an old Nvidia 5200 card. Runs real good with video options set to fast.
  14. Its infrequent, but has happened enough to be a bug. Double clicking on a soldier (not the floating icon) to group select the formation sometimes causes a CTD. I've seen it happen with both dismounted troops, and mounted troops. (I click on their heads sticking up out of the hatches). I tried to save the error report, but coundn't find it. I'll try again next time.
  15. Great map. Time is too short though. I'd reccomend 2 hours for any urban battle. I only just cleared one flank and started my attack when time ran out.
  16. I think its set in the "mission parameters" list in the scenario editor. The battle size is set there too. I made a 2km long desert map for large tank battles, and it always shows up when I choose "Large/Open" battle in the QB generator. (thats what I set it to in the editor).
  17. How about the old toggle (on/off) smoke option? Sometimes I cant see my own units to give them orders. I take a bad frame rate hit with alot of smoke also.
