Excellent discussion. My original purpose in asking about the 3000 meter range was to see if the US tank got the upper hand at a longer range. And should that be the case is it worth it to try and stand off at those distances and duke it out with a better chance to prevail. As mentioned, I would love to see results at 500 meter intervals out to the weapons theoretical range limit.

If you don't have scenarios with Partisans then we don't need them. And vice versa...

They could have done it in a stand alone module called "Partisans!" It would be the only CM module I never ordered...

T64A VS M60A1 (WITH NO EXTRAS)
ALLOWED COMBAT FOR ONLY ONE MINUTE.
Both tanks unbuttoned
Would the results change much at, say, 3000 meters?

I am looking forward to having taken the game to the end of the war they can get started on the earlier years. I will be an old man when we finally get Barbarossa but I will enjoy it nonetheless - if only by looking over my grandson's shoulder...

Correct. CMFB was about 6 weeks, which BF says is "normal" +/- 2 wks. Still, we have waited patiently this long, what's another 5 months?

As a 21-year veteran I have developed a lot of patience waiting for various games/modules/packs/updates. When they appear I enjoy them thoroughly - this is a great game system. Would I like new stuff to pop up more regularly? Sure. But I'm OK with the way it is too. RL keeps me pretty busy too.
