hope I didn't miss this topic anywhere...
Having played the demo for a few hours, my
conclusion is... great game, slightly frustrating interface. Since I couldn't find any other complaints about the interface, maybe it's just me, but here goes
1) the keys need a redefine possibility.
shift-A and shift-Z, for instance should be
page-up and page-dn as far as I'm concerned
so it's near the arrow keys. This drove me
crazy. I can't describe how crazy
I'm sure this has been mentioned before.
2) I'd like to be able to record one or more
fixed viewpoints. Problem: I discover a nice viewpoint, angle and facing for
covering a particular part of the battle.
Then of course I have to repeatedly move somewhere else to check LOS, and then laboriously return to my survey position. I figure it wouldn't take long to add some possibility to record your position, angle and facing (<shift-something>) and then be able to use a single keypress (<something>) to be able to return to your recorded viewpoint.
Other than that (and the 3-man teams thing
covered in the FAQ) TREMENDOUS! Keep up the good work
