  1. If it were YOU manning the bazooka, what would you do? I've never been under fire, but if I were sitting in some trees and saw an enemy tank coming toward me, I'd probably hide and wait for it to pass, then fire at its rear or flank at close range as many times as possible until it turned to fire at me. (Two or three shots?) However, if I saw enemy infantry supporting the tank, I might very well just take a long-range potshot and get my butt out of there. If I waited for a great shot in this circumstance, I'd doubtless get killed, right? So, better to take a slim long-range chance and live to fight again another day. (Or am I just a lousy soldier?) What would you do?
  2. Don't get me wrong -- I think CM will be the best game of its genre EVER! But in Close Combat, a machine-gun would make mincemeat out of a rifle squad, while in CM it seems like MG's are MUCH less effective. Anyone agree -- or disagree?
  3. I've had similar "suicidal" moves by infantry. In one case, an HMG unit moved out of a stone building straight through a wall into a wheatfield -- directly toward my Tiger about 50m away. Naturally the HMG got blasted. Another time a squad on a wall, in a close-quarters firefight, inexplicably jumped the wall and strolled forward into open terrain -- and the enemy's blazing rifles!
  4. How about using right-click-hold-button to scroll left and right? In conjunction with the existing no-button scroll, which rotates the battlefield, this would obviate the need to click on those "scrolling arrows." There's plenty enough to see and do onscreen; I really don't want to have to look at or point-and-click on those arrows. Thanks for your consideration.
  5. Starting at view-level (number key) 3, I believe, the graphics don't look very sharp; the edges of tanks are fuzzy, and it's hard to spot my own (tiny) troops. Is this something which will be fine-tuned before release? (Perhaps during the orders phase my troops could be outlined in yellow or something?) BTW, is the game actually using 3D video? Thanks.
  6. Does "Forward Observer" mean ANY unit that has LOS to target?
