No, what they said is that they were going to try to do both WEGO and realtime with WEGO for 2 minutes turns if I recall correcly
But, they also said the game will be out by the end of Spring ....Ok ok I'll shut up

I also think, the real strength of this game is the way it makes you think as a real commander. Operational and Tactics decisions , supply, communications, training you and others, It all tries to simulated WWII matters, It takes time but that is part of its nature. It is not for anyone looking for a quick fix
They are doing a good job at moving things as fast as possible.
For something that is totally voluntary there is no equal.
Great game

I'm in training, so I have not played a real battle yet, however, the training provides with plenty to do.
Very well done

Played the demo,
And this is really a great game
good job.

I guess it is all how you define "twitch". For me it means a game where physical reflexes are the primary thing that matters. All games, even twitch games, have some amount of thinking (which one to shoot first, which unit to move where, etc.), but without fast reflexes there is no way to progress in the game.
By this definition, most arcade type games are twitch games. Most RTS games have a strong twitch element, but fast reflexes alone won't win you many games. Serious vehicle sims require a lot of skill and knowledge to make the reflexes meaningful, while arcade type vehicle games do not. The current batch of FPS games out there are sometimes more like arcade games and sometimes more like flight sims. Totally depends on what the game is all about.
BFC.
I'm starting to hear CMSF AND CM2 for the
XBOX360 and PS3 :0

Is this new CMC a coded CMMC ??? combat mission mega campaings
-
I think i'm not surprised that the game is on the Me. What's really a schock. it's that it is a fictional period. I think something historical would of make a bigger impact. Bfc had done so well implementing reality and fun together that I expected not less but,
I will buy it, since I really like the quality of Bfc games so far.
I look forward to learning on modern tactics and equipment.
-
The fact that BFC will be adding modules does point to an early period. Yes maybe WWII but I was thinking that they could easily start with
Iraq or maybe even Vietnam. There is plenty of talk on buildings and such.
We'll know soon enough .....
-
Well
Steve
You had me at
3D trenches and fox holes,
Multiple floors on Buildings.Different entries and windows
1:1
new and updated graphics not that it matters
keeping realism
New 8 x 8 tiles and 1 m mesh
and there is lots more to be coded
ok let me say it WOW
you guys have always done a great job "brown nosing a bit"
And to think that when I saw CMBO ALPHA I thought that was the best I ever played
just let me know when to get it.
keep up the good work

Wow, I would really hope, that Pbem makes the game. I have nothing against the AI on either of the three games. But CM against humans is super, and it complements the AI in ways that not other War game does. I can only image how difficult it would be to make this work again But it is a formula that works ummm for me any ways

how do you open a file on yenc format ??
-
There are a couple pics on the new Pcgamer mag...
-
Good stuff
really well done battles and operations
This is the reason I got Cmbb ....
thanks a bunch .

It's there any way to break this operation into sections so that we can play it
As it is, is almost imposible to run it, if at all
Now I know it will take a lot work to do but
with 4 different sections or so it may be more
bearable
Just and idea

I played for about 1 hour

Finalizing CM:SF's Setting
in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
Posted
I would also admit that I wanted a wwII game, or something from the past and not the furture , that being said, I’ve grown to the CMSF idea, set up and TO&E .
BFC. You guys has proven to make good games, If you keep the same quality, I’m sure whatever the set up will be we’ll enjoy it.
Realistic TO&E is the way to go for me.
