As we all know in CMBO you would often get Upper Hull hits while Hull Down as well, which I was never really comfortable with.

    Thanks...

Dont take it as the holy bible, its only my first impression. Maybe its to early to made statements, but to loose all 11 Panthers thrue Turret hits and not a single upper hull hit, was really anoying. Ill try to reproduced it, hope im wrong. Another possibillity could be, if the attackers r on a higher area, hwo knows...

Yes, thats why i mentioed it. The "plonk" exchange between two hull down tanks in CM:BO still sounds in my ears... ;)

  2. I dont care about the JSIII graphics, i will never use it, nor try it or what ever. The same would apply to a possible Maus or any other vehikel that saw no combat.

Im happy to see in the future my extensive in PBEM battles used "Stummels", then with a 75mm gun instead of the 2cm one.. :D also the original KV`s...ect.

  3. Doesnt matter which version hade the 110mm, but would be nice to see one in CM:BB. The surviving rate against T_43/85 is then mutch higher.

Btw... i noticed more Turret hits then in CM:BO.

I played "xxxxxxxx xxxx" the map with the *oups*. Put all in a hull down possiton, but all were sniperd, by *peep* and *peep`s* from over 1500 meters, mostly 1700 meters and more.

On a other scenario, cant remember the name of it, i defended with 11 Panthers, all in hull down and i saw not one "upper hull riccochet", all were killed by turret hits from T43-85.

Now we have the "search for hull down position" order, but i have really bad impressions and dont think to use it in my next games.

I made also tests on plain terrain and got mostly upper hull hits.

I can understand if this happends with T-34, theyr turrets r in front of the vehicel and stings in your eye at first and maybe you cant miss it.. ;)

After the SU-100 i just wana test the Jagdtiger vs IS-2.

So far i notifieded that the most german tanks are realy cost intesivy, sure they are better at far range and accurartity, but i think that the russian players can easliy outnumber the german players ... .

Depends how gamey your oponnent are...In the normal, small QB games, you need only some 75mm/L48 guns to scratch on the nerves from your russian counterpart. Even the "Mighty" JSII is vulnerable up to 500 meters on the front turret, not to mention the sides and rear. On the other side, the russians have nothing to beat the fronts of the heavys, even under 200 meter.
  5. I own the game since Saturday and played it alot. Yesterday i looked on one of my hiding inf`s and saw for the first time Mg impacts...today the first time bursting non- penetration bullets on tanks. Hope to find more frome those awesome small goodies.

The most interesting thing i found out....i never attacked so carefully like in CM:BB.

  6. Redwolf:

I think anything with an mg on board its worth to use. In CM:BO, if i played an operation and the designer gave me alot sdkfz`s or other troop carriers with mg`s, i put them mostly out of any harm. The destroying of such a vehikel gave your opponnent to many points and were mostly useless.

Now in CM:BB, i use these vehikels alot. They gave great supressing fire and in the meantime, the former passengers make flanking manoevers, really great. On the other hand, you can use them to pass some open spaces, without fear to loos to many soldiers...

I know, you mean mostly those small buggers like T-60 T-70, Bt-series ect. but if you use them as a bait for bigger tanks, then pop up your T-34 and comparsions, you will have a lot fun.. ;)

  7. Let me ad some experiences i hade in the last days.

Brummbärs would be my favorite assault gun. Real good ammo loadout 40 pieces mostly he 30-35 150mm are real good to smash little towns when attacking, plus the 100mm/40@ slooped armor will help to save your bucks.. ;)

Sturmmörser: well, the 2-3 min. reloadtime issnt fast but this tank hase its authorization to be used, but not in the defense. The accuracy is really worse and you need a broad zone were no own units r involved.

KTiger`s turret speed are improofed, now alot faster then in cm:bo...i think its more realistic.

Shame over me, i never played as russian until now, but saw one time a russian mp squad with a blast power of 450!! Stay away from these bugs...kill them, where ever you see.....

    :D

Yesterday i made some ugly experiance with T-34/85 and Su-85 with tungsten ammo....my panthers got some bad turret pennetrations. After the tungsten were gone, they never archived any frontal pennetration..but to late.. ;)
