  1. I'm still impressed with the game. Admittedly, my review was lukewarm and I don't expect the patch to fix all my problems. However, we must give BF and 1c credit for moving the genre forward instead of recycling old ideas unlike other companies.
  2. Liam, I write the piece in response to public requests. If the kaffee-klatsch members here want to put their energies where their mouths are, I can steer them to two sited that might be interested.
  3. Thanks, Canuck. I noticed a misplaced comma. I'm chopping off my left little toe.
  4. I'll only cop to #4. The separate editor is not part of the game. If subs work different than what I describes in CEW, then it's hidden too well. I did mention Commanders in CEW. One buys the game from Matrix and so has quicker recognition than the developer. The NATO toggles are not as accessible as zooming. The article accomplished its purpose. If you llike nits, try to publish yourself.
  5. Thanks, guys. I put a lot of work into it. SC@WAW appears to be the choice over at Wargamer, also.
  6. Check it out: http://www.wargamer.com/articles/sc2ww_vs_ceaw/
  7. No problem here after it dawned on me that my username at the store is different than my forum one.
  8. Minor correction, the MGS is 105mm isn't it? </font>
  9. Darn, that paragraph reads even better to me now than when I wrote it. CMSF was difficult to review. So tiring that I'm giving myself a break before doing the next.
  10. That's not true... we doesn't have WeGO in CMSF at all. Only a vanilla version of realtime-auto pause. To get WeGO, you need good TacAI that makes your troops act more realistically when they spot some targets or become under fire. This game is fully realtime oriented... don't even speak of WeGO, if you want to sound like a serious reviewer, WeGO it's only the name of the menu that they placed in their realtime with auto-pause option... all the maths of the TacAI are done in real time... without any stop for 100% dedicated CPU calculations. </font>

  12. Does the training campaign have instructions or prompts? Edit: Nebermind. I got it now. Basically, you just figure out commans without being shot at. [ August 11, 2007, 12:31 PM: Message edited by: Jim Cobb ]
