  1. @Bootie can confirm this part but.......Neither Battlefront nor Steam would have anything to do with submitting things on Bootie's site. Any user made scenario, campaign or map created with the Steam version will work with all versions. The mission should be to get the word out to people that are new to games that The Few Good Men exists. Letting people know that there is a place they can share their work.
  2. Great news!! What they are able to do once a tournament starts is extremely limited. They also can't "look inside" game files and investigate things. The scoring is supposed to be 1) Whatever a completed battle's score is rules everything. And is the official score for that battle. 2) Your opponent is a no show you get 1,000 points per battle 3) Battle is not finished should award the running scores. 4) Battles are played for a while and then 1 player abandons game should award abandoned person the running score plus 1,000 points. However, that may not be absolute and may depend on how much time has gone by without turns being sent. If the missing player hasn't send a turn in 3 days it is different than if they haven't sent a turn in 15 days. The bottom line is that everyone should do their absolute best to complete games. Know that is the opponent is a no show you'll get a decent number of points. And anything may not make sense. Not the answer that I want to give but it's the best that I have gotten so far. I was given a spreadsheet that detailed things. I'm really good with numbers and maths and I couldn't figure out what that things was saying.
  3. They're still trying to figure out if they can resend you the original first file. You haven't been forgotten. They work Monday through Friday though. So, nothing happened over the weekend.
  4. You're new here and this is the first thing you decide to post? Personally attacking another forum member? That will get you a vacation every time.
  5. @Col Edge During checkout in our store you can add a physical disk to your order for all purchases that include the base game. For instance, if you purchase the Fortress Italy Big Bundle you can add a DVD to that purchase. If you order the Gustav Line module only then you cannot order a DVD. Mostly because, if your installation is up to date, you already have it installed. There is no Gustav Line module that can be installed anymore. Battlefront is the only place that you can purchase Mac versions of the games. If you have both Mac and Windows computers you can use your Battlefront license key to get the Steam version for your Windows computer.
  6. Yeah. You'll have it for 30 days after the tournament ends.
  7. You're right. It doesn't. I've asked them if there is any way to resend your initial file.
  8. The only explanation is that you accidentally hit a key (or keys) when you first opened the initial file and created a password.
  9. Is that with the initial time that you had a turn from that side or was it the 2nd file that you got?
  10. You've got me for the Red Thunder Round. Which makes you lucky in 2 ways. 1) I'll turn the files over in plenty of time to play the whole Round. 2) You've got easy wins coming your way. @Holien has me for the Normandy Round. He's going to get the same benefits that Suzuya will get.
  11. Speaking of Where Forefather Fought, @Hapless made another awesome video for the tournament!!!! https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2418000/view/3829809944862888213
  12. Our previous ones haven't been this short. The idea with this was to make 3 simultaneous quick tournaments and bang all 3 out as quickly as possible.
  13. I'll ask to have 10 days added. That will start Round 3 10 days later.
  14. This one apparently slipped through the fingers of the TO&E person. They've reached out to Charles to see about a quick patch and were told "We can do a quick patch, but not this week." Thank you for the nudge.
  15. I've been been working with our friends at Slitherine since I made this post. Part of the issue was that there was some bug found. I wanted somefink to pass on to you guys so asked a couple of questions and I have gotten responses that make some sense. Here are the questions and answers. I hope this clears things up some and gives an idea of what to expect going forward: 1) What was intended to happen when the scoring adjustment was made? What were we hoping it would do? "If a game hadn't finished, then the person who had taken the longer time to play (so, who held up the game the most) would be flagged as the loser for the purpose of the scoring algorithm and some of their score would be added to the other person. If a game had been completed, the score should have remained the same." 2) What is the nature of the bug that was uncovered? "The bug that occurred was that even when a game had completed, scores were affected in a similar way, and were lowered. And even when the game hadn't completed, the 'winner' (as in, the person who had played the most) shouldn't have had their score lowered either. This bug should now have been fixed, so that winners' scores and completed games scores won't be lowered."
  16. It looks like more days can be added. The question then is do we really want to? Both of my Normandy battles were finished last week. Do you think that 5 days is enough? Again, it seems like it can be adjusted but how much do we really want to adjust it?
  17. Wow!! Your "Joined" date is even older than mine!! I am October '99. If you have the games through the 4.0 Upgrade then not much has changed with the game engine. More content has become available. You can now pick up PBEM games through the game itself, in addition to talking to people here and looking for a game.
  18. I also sent a PM with more specific information for you.
  19. Yes. Any download of the game that uses Game Engine 4 will have downloads for both Mac and Windows version and the license keys are cross platform

  21. The best thing is to open a Help Desk ticket. https://battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com/
