I switched the Italian background for CMBB's backgrounds. Now low rolling hills with trees in the distance...Looks just fine. Should work great for N W Europe

I, too searched in vain for the CMBB tracer BMP. Sure would like to know where I can dl it.

After loading CMAK I started a QB...and lo and behold! There I was...as usual a jeep jocky! It is very cool to be in the game!

Actual Bug Report: Infantry Climbing "Cliff" walls...ground floor set at 5 height set at 9. When it occurred at these settings I decreased the floor to 2 and raised adjacent height to 12 with the same results. Manual states height numbers skipped by three create cliffs...ie 1x4 or 7x10. Appears to be incorrect

What's that great line from SPR...."Who's doing the shooting, who's doing the shooting." I like the way FOW is enhanced by this lack of info. It better defines the chaos of the WW2 battlefield. I will, however, dl the tracer fire BMP. My understanding of tracer fire in WW2 was that the axis and allies used different colors. Guess I saw the same show on the History channel.

I love this game...and the desert maps are very intersting...great for maneuver warfare. The historical time frame allows for early weapons systems to shine. I have bought all the CM's to date and this one is the best. Buy it!

This is an oustanding war game! Much better than CMBO (for those of us who like the western allies)and extremely interesting terrain types to maneuver on. The historical accuracy is oustanding and the game play is heads and shoulders above ANYTHING out there. No, Virginia, this game doesn't suck....

Too strange...I can log in just fine. I just can't dl anything...I use Net Ants to dl with...never had any problems in the past...is something wrong with the site or me?

I stand corrected...The game spelling is always the right spelling...Now I have a request. It seems I'm unable to dl from CMMod data base. It may have something to do with Net Ants... while I try to get this sorted out would someone be kind enough to send me the CD zip file...I hoping to get my CMAK (oh that is a K!) in today's mail ( hope springs enternal, you know...) and would love to have a cool case. my email is markezra@adelphia.net Thanks

The reason why is PBEM security. Apparently allowing for a complete play back of a scen allows cheaters a way to change the out come of a turn. This was dicussed in great detail in early threads of CMBO.

Before CMBO was shipped BTS gave Forum members the opportunity to put names in for French, German, UK, Polish, Canadian and US forces. I do not know if something similar happened for CMBB (Russian, Finns, East Block)or CMAK (Italians). From time to time I see my family name...actually a tribute to my uncle, a WW2 Vet of the 45th Division.

I checked out Comp USA and they say CMBO/SE will be on the shelves in June. I'm gonna pick up a copy for all the Mod's...I changed PC's and lost my MOD's as well as my fast internet connection all at once. CMBO/SE is just the solution I was looking for. As for supporting CM...absolutely the right thing to do. This is one Company that pays attention to it's consumers and has a vision of what wargaming should be. Not always the easiest thing to balance.

Unconfirmed bug - dynamic flags (again)

I am working on a scen using dynamic flags chosen automatically. In playing the scen during the design phase I noticed The same flag was chosen. Perhaps 3 times. I just finished a complete play through and checked the map....It chose the other flag! I'd say just the odds in your scen. Dynamic flags chosen automatically seem to work fine for me
