    Huge New Map posted

    4 km x 2 km map uploaded here under the title Panzer Lehr at Pont Hebert and also at Green as Jade's site. I have posted the necessary new building skins at the repository as well. Look there. Sorry for this repost but the other title did not attract much attention and I wanted people to be aware of a fantastic new map. The map can be cropped into smaller sections to create your own scenarios.

  3. I often us an arch when I have units in hiding and want them to get out from hiding only when enemy troops come inside the arch.

  4. foxholes and trenches will also work well against direct fire with the hide and pause set on the unit. The issue of course being that they are worthless as to returning fire. But the tactic I use often in h2h fights is, Hide my men and let the enemy blast away, especially if I have a trench system. I can crawl my men away from pinning type of effects. The important part is, having other friendlies, normally farther away. concealed but keeping a eye on the enemy and set to open up on any enemy unit wanting to rush the defenses. I provided the mod to Mirek, he will attach it to his send to bootie I finished the 2nd battle and there was fur torn off (Those who have already seen 2 cats fighting will understand what I mean) I ended up with a total victory but I paid the price!! A problem I couldn't call the 4.2 inch There is no artillery observer and all HQs are refused

  6. I love playing huge CM1 scenarios vs a human. But, haven't played a CM1 scenario or campaign vs the AI in a decade or more. You could ask on WeBob site or other sites where CM1 players are still active.

  7. This has been racking my brain a bit... Partial quote from initial post by Steve: "The inevitable question is… when will it be ready? Winter 2020 to me is like saying the Battle of the Bulge happened in Winter 1944. It means that Fire and Rubble gets released at the end of 2020? I request a more specific answer!   8. @Battlefront.com Hey Steve: Good to see you on the forums - can I take advantage of your inquisitive bug hunting mood from earlier in the thread? Here's an unintended consequence of the 4.01/4.02 patch that puts a real kink in the bocage terrain and presumably related infantry TacAI behavior (i.e. displacing into enemy fire) in CMBN. Some players like @PIATPunk called attention to this a few months ago and @BFCElvis has been helpful in logging it with a viable test scenario.   9. Maybe one day all these "bug reports" will become "suggestions to tweak algorithms and mechanics" or "requests to revise algorithms and mechanics". The ease of communication via the Internet from behind a pseudonym seems to have been detrimental to the ability to communicate.
