bardosy
I'm working on a campaign. It's a special German campaign, because the core units are only a oversized platoon (so it's small) and the campaign contains Axis vs Axis missions too. In the stroy, this is the fight of a rebel German units: The year is 1944. So many of Germany's finest lie six feet under in Poland, the Ukraine, Byelorussia and beyond. The Nazi war-machine is suffering a critical shortage of manpower. In an act of what none would dare to call 'desperation', the War Ministry has been reduced to searching through prisons for recruits, in order to form special troops from the known criminal community. Hero of the Great War, Lt Gerber, had made expert use of his criminal tendencies and talents for ruthlessness and violence in the years of the Depression. A convicted armed robber, he has spent the last ten years behind bars. Now he is commander of a special troop. They are common criminals to the man, and awaiting the transport to the Western front. There they will pitch themselves against the Us forces, and in all likelihood can look forward to an early and anonymous death. Gerber and his troop have no shining future. If they stay, they'll die. But if they go, the same fate ultimately awaits them. Their only hope is to escape to Switzerland. Of course, the Swiss authorities will not welcome them, although they have access to a lot of money. But the faltering Reichmark is not what they need; rather it's the hard and buoyant currency of the U.S. dollar. Gerber's band of desperate warrior thieves have info about an American POW camp, where the treasury of the 4th Infantry Division is held. So Gerber says 'All in', and leads his heartened men into their own private war for money and freedom. Lt Gerber's troop - Gerber's Heroes - is an oversized platoon. He has three squads plus additional specialists including snipers, machine-gunners and mortars. And the aces up his sleeve: a few Panzers. While they were locked down in a cattle car they managed to meet with armor boys who were not criminal in themselves but were feared enough due to their willingness to die for their Führer. So Gerber assured them of a bright opportunity to join his troop for the money. Gerber's heroes have only two enemies: the entire American Army and the entire German Army. Plus the Waffen-SS, time, and the Swiss border guards. Most of the missions are ready for playtest and you can DOWNLOAD the campaign. But I need ideas and suggestions for the last two missions. And of course I need beta test for the existing missions. If you want, please help me in this. Thanks!
