Panzer_Hugger Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 I've played CMBB on this pc and OS before (It was still installed from before), never had this problem. When I click the fast-forward button in the game it instantly goes to 60 seconds instead of 10 seconds at a time and I can't go backwards once i've clicked FF once. The troubleshooter said that this )or rather something similiar to this) can happen if you're running an instant messenger program but i'm not running one, it also said Dell pc's can have this issue but i'm using an HP. I've tried rebooting the game and my pc, i've checked what's running in the background and i've also reinstalled the game. Did I just hit a wrong key or something? Schrullenhaft Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 This can possibly result due to the way time is tracked via the executable, OS, BIOS, etc. Some Dells could address this issue with BIOS update (if I can recall correctly). If you are running Windows XP and you have a dual core AMD Athlon CPU, then this may get addressed by installing the AMD Dual Core Optimizer.
