Schrullenhaft Posted April 22, 2011 Share Posted April 22, 2011 As Hubert was pointing out, depending on which particular SC title you have, there is probably a patch that should fix the problem. The most common problem with Windows Vista and Windows 7 with the SC2 series was the lack of the 'dx7vb.dll' file. Those newer operating systems didn't come with this file and the registry pointers for it. Quite possibly you may have Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg. Hubert Cater Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 Correct, if you can tell us which title you are playing there will be an appropriate patch that should resolve the Windows 7 issue for you... just let us know or download the appropriate patch from the patches page and it should get you up and running. Hubert P.S. I would also ensure you run the game as an Administrator (the first time after you apply the latest patch) by right clicking the game icon and selecting 'Run As Administrator'.
