scottie
got an odd "nvlddmkm" driver crash issues with CMSF , have tried a bunch of sorts but appears to be getting worse. Any, going to format pc and have uninstalled CMSF and modules easily. Several weeks ago i uninstall CMAK after spending hours find out how to unlicence ... am now going over the same process again and cannot find the info in 1). the forums 2) the knowledgebase Seem to remember something about creating a shortcut to the main app.exe. Cannot find this info again. In addition i took about 20+ attempts on the forum image verification. BF , blood pressure goes through the roof when ever i have to deal with any techy issues with your products and im a techie professional ! , Completely understand the need to e_licence , not complaining about that , just make it bloody easier to unlicence and find the info about how to do it !!! Why caint unistall unlicence at the same time for example ??? Frustrated. Scott
Schrullenhaft
To unlicense a game that doesn't come with shortcuts already setup to do this (most of our games do, some of the older ones unfortunately don't): 1. Copy the shortcut that you typically launch the game with. 2. Right-click this new shortcut and select 'Properties' from the popup menu. 3. In the 'Target' line (which is normally highlighted) press the right-arrow key to get to the end of the line. 4. Make sure your cursor is AFTER the last quotation mark ("). Now type a 'space' and then '-unlicense'. 5. Click 'Apply' and then 'OK'. 6. You can rename this shortcut and have it mention 'Unlicense'. 7. When you launch this shortcut it should bring up the licensing dialog box to unlicense the game. This is mentioned in our Knowledgebase: eLicense: Manual unlicense procedure (this is under the 'eLicense FAQ' section).
scottie
Thanks for the reply. Information is too difficult to find. This was the article i was searching for in the KB having read it in the past, could really do with making the unlicense process easer for your users. Thanks for helping me out Scott
