I just went from Vista to W7 and although the graphic portion (terrain area with units) is fine the lower portion with the controls is blank - black with white spaces. Anyway around this? The problems that you may see in Windows 7, most likely would have appeared in Windows Vista too. Most video card manufacturers use the same drivers between Windows Vista and Windows 7. Did you do an 'in place upgrade' from Windows Vista to Windows 7 ? Do you know which video driver you have (since that possibly could have changed with an upgrade) ? I'm not aware of a particular Nvidia video driver causing the problem that you're seeing. If you Alt+Tab and minimize CM and then re-maximize it, does that refresh the 2D info bar so that you can see it ? Perhaps deleting the 'Prefs' file for each game and then reselecting the resolution over again may help. I'm not sure which Nvidia driver works best with the CMx1 series, but you may want to update your driver to see if that helps. If you play CMSF too, then the 180 series has the least bugs. I'm not sure how well the 180 series works with CMx1, but I haven't experienced any particular problems with them. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aragorn2002 Posted February 19, 2011 Share Posted February 19, 2011 I've installed the 1.04 patch for CMBB, because of the black boxes problem. However now my Pz IVH's have turned into bright white boxes. The shape of the vehicles are good, but there is no texture anymore, only total whiteout.
