Brit
I am finding that the AI does not attack me and I am able to build all my technologies then I attack. Are you at war with the AI, and he just isn't mounting any invasions? Or is he not declaring war against you?
Boris Balaban
I set the AIs to Elite. Most of the time the AI does not attack me untill I declare war.
rich12545
Boris, try starting the game with all players at war with each other and you'll get what you want. It's much better that way.

I have started a game that way tonight and it seems better.
hoolaman
I have seen the AI load up transports but then park them just off the coast of my city and leave them there. I've also seen it disembark its troops and leave them just outside my city. In both cases my cities were quite lightly defended and when a city is in LOS the AI should know just as well as a human player when it has overwhelming odds in its favour, and make its move decisively. rich12545
Yeah, I agree. Although with "all at war" the ai works much better and more aggressively all the way around. But there are individual situations where it could do better. I know this is something Brit will be working on and hopefully it will go up on the priority list. Boris Balaban
May be if you do not start with "all at war" the AIs will each have a randum triger set when you finish (like) '"jet engine" or "air base" technology or a pecent of cities captued or resources then the AI will declair war. Brit
Okay, I bumped up the aggressiveness of the AI so they'll go to war more quickly. I'll be running some tests to see if it corrects this situation.
Rosseau
Again, I am just amazed at the support we get for this game. I hope the article in AG kicks up sales. I'm sure it won't hurt. Best to all!
StellarRat
The seems pretty smart about being "aggressive" to me. I've several games where it laid back and knocked off weaker opponents first then came after me in the end.
