Cheating AI

I'm in the middle of a great game as the Axis. In the Pacific Japan has dominated and only in late '43 has the US geared up to push them back.

While fighting in Australia the US landed troops to stop the Japanese advancement. I was holding on to Sydney but the Allies held the port of Sydney.

On the AI's turn I noticed the US pass three troop units thru the port. The port however was damaged down to a "3." The units were using transport ships and not amphibious assault vehicles. So on a port with a 3 rating the US in one term was able to unload three units from transport ships.

For me this is only possible if a port has a 5 or higher rating. I'm wondering if there is some tech that allows this to happen or if this is an AI bug.

Anyone else seen this?

Yeh buddy, playing the EVIL, the USA and Japan both off loaded numerous times through Seoul with the efficiency running 10%.

I had....or so I thought, isolated the area while the Reds worked over the Korean peninsula, but to no avail as the battle for Korea raged on for months. Eventually it took nearly 75% of the entire USSR airforce to bring the place to its knees. Experienced, double strike CVs of both the Japanese and US navies kept the battle even for a long time and consumed all, save one, USSR AF fighters, but the end finally came. Now without any NW upgrades my Red TACs are having hell trying to subdue rampaging shore bombardments by both enemy navies.

Someone knew what they were doing when they programmed this AI!:)

I still don't have the huevos to select the +2 setting, going at 1.5 and intermediate.

If Gypsy observation is correct, than we are facing a bug here.

And you are honestly trying to tell us that this bug is an awesome feature, to be adored by us all?

Or did i simply missed the joke because of my limited language knowledge? :confused:

x.....settle.....cannot you read a bit of sarcasm in my postings.....subtle they may be, hopefully.;)

Bugs...bugs...bugs...are not they just simple adversities that must be overcome?

Aren't your nightly REMs saturated with maneuvering to quish the injustice of the AI?:confused:

Mine are filled with double strike CVs circling around my head, attacking....escorting....and intercepting my obvious delusion that land based fighters are more effective than CAGs. One thing....all SC CAGs come from the Top Gun school and according to Iceman and Maverick are worth at least four land based fighters for everyone that is carrier borne.:cool:

I was playing on intermediate with no xp boost for the AI. So unless this is a feature of the intermediate lvl, then I think I may have witnessed a bug.

Eventually, I took Australia despite that cheating AI. In fact I went ahead and took the US for good measure and scored a decisive victory despite super US transport landing maneuvers.

Someone may want to look into this "potential" bug.
