Announcement: Japan 1570 MOD for SC2WaW

Hello,

this is a short preview on my upcoming Japan 1570 Mod.

It deals with the Sengoku Jidai period. There are many Clans struggeling for domination to become the new Shogun-Family.

Features:

-Play as the fictional Mori-Oda Alliance or the Shimazu-Uesugi Alliance!

-Fight 31 minor Clans to Achieve Domination or use diplomacy to influence

them.

-Many Infanterie Units: Samurai, Ashigaru(Peansants),Cavalry, Archers,

Gunpowderunits,Ninjas,WarriorMonks and some more

-Ships were not of much importance in this period, so there is just one.

-Aircraft is represented through Ninjas(Strike and vanish) and Spies.

-All with new costs, delay and stats.

I did many graphical changes and i hope you like it(Cities, Mines, Fortresses,etc)

Status:

Map 100%

Graphics 90% (some smaller issues and fixings are to be done)

- Flags 100%

- Units 100%

Setup and Balance 20%

Customized Research, Unit stats, Country Boni,... 60%

Scripts 0%

Customized Interface 20%

First of all i have to say that i did my best to make it historical accurate, but as it is in the main game too, there are compromises to be made. In this case, there it were 2 fictionall alliances between major clans of feudal japan, some minor clans are not exactly in the right location and some flags are just modern city flags of the capital (cause i couldn´t find the right ones), but those look good.

I will post any news here as soon there are ones. Dont ask me when is it finally done? It is done when it is done. I do it for fun and for me, cause i´m a fan of the sengoku jidai period, so i will do it as perfect as i have to.

I think in a few months it will be ready.

- Sounds are done.

- Clanbanners historical accuracy has been increased.(Only 3 flags are

not correct out of 37 ).

- Historical General- and Daimyonames for HQ`s are done.

- Custom Interface, Localization(all pointing to WW2 had been removed).

- Graphic issues fixed.

- Unitsettup on map is ready(only some Testing units remain).

- Research, Costs and Combat Target Values are fine.

A few scripts and a multiplayerversion is possible, but as it is my first mod and i enjoy it so far, i want to do a good ai too.

I have a few new screenshots for you. The Warmap..., the Uesugi starting position already fighting against their neighbours the Jinbo and the Oda starting position fighting against Kitabatake.
