Balance mod ver 1.0 for TOW2 (Africa 43)

Install:

Backup your MISSIONS and DATA folders.

Run "balance mod.exe", point to your Africa1943 folder when ask.

You should got 3DOBJ folder; UNITS, GUNS, ITEMS subfolders in your DATA folder;

and 11 new subfolders in your MISSIONS\MP_LIST folder.

Unistall:

Run uninstall.exe.

Features:

* New balanced costs for all units.

* The Valentine IX (by Svarrogg) and Matilda II tanks added.

* The magazines capacity corrected for the German 20mm Flak38 and 20mm Kwk38 cannons.

* New MP mission "Kasserine" added.

* In all MP missions:

- increased tanks, cars and infantry permissions.

- number of players increased up to 8 (except defence missions).

- recapture time in CTF missions increased from 5 to 15 min

- added sniper, Sdkfz250, Sdkfz232, motorcycle, artillery to the German reserves.

- added new tanks, sniper and ATR infantry to the British reserves.

- added different cars to all sides.

- a little bag fixed: an Italian ATR team - the 4th member had no any weapon in all missions.

- some flags and spawn points moved to the better places.

The original MP missions marked as (original), the edited ones - as (balanced).

Balance mod ver 1.1 for TOW2

Features:

* New balanced costs for all units.

* Tracks and wheels are stronger now.

* New units added:

- Valentine IX and Matilda II tanks

- Bishop and StuG 40F/8 SPGs

- 17 pdr Pheasant ATG

- Bren and Browning MG infantry teams, Boys ATR team

* The magazines capacity corrected for the German 20mm Flak38 and 20mm Kwk38 cannons.

* The ammoload of ATR PzB.30 corrected from 10 to 50.

* New MP missions "Kasserine", "Sidi N'Sir" added.

* In all MP missions:

- increased tanks, cars and infantry permissions.

- number of players increased up to 8.

- recapture time in CTF missions increased from 5 to 15 min

- added Sdkfz250, Sdkfz232, motorcycle, artillery to the German reserves.

- added different cars and infantry detachments to all sides.

- a little bag fixed: an Italian ATR team - the 4th member had no any weapon in all missions.

- some flags and spawn points moved.

The original MP missions marked as (original), the edited ones - as (balanced).

Great mod!

can we get a version of this with decreased infrantyr and AT accuracy?

maybe are you playing in veteran difficulty level? The enemies are very accurate in that level! The most realistic difficulty level is the "regular" one.

perhaps. Anyone know if the A.I. gets dumbed down or a resource penalization at the lower difficulty? I just want a tough A.I. without feeling like it has an army of crack snipers.

Great mod!

perhaps, if the regular level is not enough for you regarding accuracy, you could try the "Novice" difficulty level. p9 of the online manual:

"your forces inflict more damage to and receive less damage from the enemy..."
