Of course now after the forum upgrade I cannot find that thread, and in yet another example of the sort of coincidental bad luck plaguing me lately, my laptop HDD took a dump last week and I lost my favorite list and pretty much everything else. So, what I recall is a kind of casual-ish restaurant, kind of a German feel to it, maybe Czech... and another was a little bit of a fancier Italian place. Ring a bell? I'm traveling with my wife and a younger child, visiting my oldest daughter as she graduates from Eastern Mich. Also, any updated info on where to stay and places to avoid would be good.
