Fixes:

1. IS-2 crew now consists of 4 men instead of 5.

2. Front hull armor for Shermans M4A3 76W and M4A2 76W now 64mm instead of 102mm (because it’s 102mm part of front hull is less than 30% of front projection).

3. APCR rounds for 57mm Mk.IV AT gun added.

4. Cost of StuG III Ausf. D lowered by 50 points (now 150).

5. M6 Staghound armored car moved from US to UK force pool.

Known bugs:

Tracks in T-34 mod.1941 sometimes are invisible from large distance. Solution for this problem is to be found.

New single missions

1. «First day». Kursk salient, 1943. (Germany).

2. «Turning the tide». Kursk salient, 1943. (USSR).

3. «Trap». Hungary, 1945 (USSR).

Allies

2 mission

M6 Staghound is available for purchase.

8 mission

M24 Chaffee tanks replaced by M4 Sherman.

Third Reich

1 mission

2 MG teams are available for purchase. Maximum number of infantry squads increased to 6.

2 mission

MG team is available for purchase. Maximum number of infantry squads increased to 4.

3 mission

1 assault squad, 1 captured T-34 and 1 armored car PzSpw P204(f) are available for purchase.

4 mission

1 assault squad, 1 tank hunter team, 1 AT squad and 1 captured KV-1 added to reserves. Maximum number of infantry squads increased to 5. USSR forces have Valentine.

5 mission

1 tank hunter team and one captured armored car BA-64 are available for purchase.

6 mission

Skins changed for german tanks. USSR forces include M3 Lee tanks. FW-190 swapped for Bf-109.

7 mission

2 captured ZIS-3 guns and 1 captured M3 Lee added to reserves. Jagdpz IV L/70 swapped for Jagdpz IV L/48. M4A2 Shermans added to USSR. Hs-129 swapped for FW-190.

8 mission

Allies have M6 Staghound.

9 mission

1 tank hunter team, 1 AT squad and 1 MG squad are available for purchase. Enemy M24 Chaffee tanks were swapped for M4 Shermans и M5A1 Stuarts.

10 mission

1 captured M4A2 Sherman, 1 StuG-IV and JagdPanther added to reserves. Maximum number of tanks increased to 6.

11 mission

1 assault squad, 2 Hetzers and 1 captured M4A2 Sherman added to reserves. US forces have M24 Chaffee.

12 mission

1 captured tank destroyer SU-85, one captured Т-34-85, 1 Elefant, 1 tank hunter team and 1 AT squad team are available for purchase. Maximum number of tanks increased to 7. Soviet forces have M4A2 76W Shermans, skins for soviet tanks were changed.

9 mission

1 assault squad, 2 M4A2 Sherman, 1 captured Pz.Kpfw IIIJ, 1 captured Pz.Kpfw IVF2 added to reserves. Maximum number of tanks increased to 6. German forces have captured ZIS-3. Skins for soviet tanks changed.

10 mission

11 mission

2 M4A2 76W Shermans, 1 assault squad added to reserves. USSR forces have Studebacker US6. German forces have captured Т-34-85 and captured tank destroyer SU-85.

Mod installation:

It is advised to backup your Mission folder first. Mod was not tested on english version, but all should work flawlessly.

Mod deinstallation:

Delete folders 3dobj and data, restore your backed up copy of Mission folder.

All players in MP session must have this mod installed because unit setup must be identical. But for beta-testing purposes rename or move somewhere folders data, 3dobj and missions and restore your original missions folder.

I am new to TOW. Just ordering it, in fact. How does one install the Mod? Is it self-installing with a setup (*.exe) file, or must one manually place certain files into certain TOW folders?

Or...is there a JGSME Mod/Installation management application such as is used with Silent Hunter 4?

I assume I would be best served by immediately installing this Mod after I install the basic game, correct?

back up copy the files you will be writing over in the game tow/directory then un-pack the JHS mod, copy those folders and paste them in to the game tow directory say yes to over write those folders. when you launch the game you will see a JHS mod 1.0v in the main front end over the ToW text.

To Sneaksie or any other who has installed the mod yet:

Do the new included SS Assault and AT Teams wear the grey uniforms and caps as before or do they change their clothes to the "camouflage and helmet" version?

Just want to be sure I installed the mod correctly, because after installing it the SS troops still wear their "old" grey colored uniforms.

Would be happy, if someone knows something. :)

First bunch of screenshots - Hs-129 and Il-2 with 37mm guns strafing tanks. Second - Bf-110 and FW-190 with SC-250 bombs, third - FW-190 and Il-2 using fragmentation bombs SC-10 and AO-10. There is Il-2 bombing german tank unit with PTABs on last group of images.
