Dark_au Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 I had a thought that it would be nice if items locations were held independant of the point spacing scale. That is instead of an items location bieng stored as an absolute value have it instead as a "percentage" or as a decimal value of point spaces. The reason for this is suppose I make a scenario and I set the point spacing to 30m. If I've placed things on the map and then decide that this point spacing is wrong then I have to change all the item's positions to change the point scale. If however the item positions were stored in say heighmap points (with a decimal) then I could very easily change the point spacing value and everything would be in the correct relative place.
