LinuxGeek
My attempt to try this game was very short-lived, as the demo failed to start immediately, just printing out "Illegal Instruction" and dropping back to the command line. I have seen the same symptom before with another game that assumed SSE was available (my processor does not support SSE). The developers in that case recompiled without SSE. Which is not to say that it could not be something completely different. Needless to say, I do not want to buy a game that I cannot play. Any ideas on what to fix or required information? ClaytoniousRex
We're looking into including a second executable built without SSE. If you're up to it, I would love to give you this build for you to test. If you're willing to do that, then please email me. Otherwise, stay tuned for news about a non-SSE build in an upcoming release.
LinuxGeek
Oh, and just FYI, the new demo dies with a SIGILL right after it tries to open a window for the installer.
