Bahger
This looks great! Would they be Red or Blue combatants or can the mission designer decide?
Combatintman
M1A1TC - Looking forward to this. Bahger - You'd like to think they would be Blue wouldn't you!!!
Bahger
Originally posted by Combatintman: Bahger - You'd like to think they would be Blue wouldn't you!!! Right. The problem, according to what I've read, is that allegiances amongst the Iraqi police are often, but not always, tribal/sectarian as opposed to nationalistic, unlike the new Iraqi army, whose commitment to the counter-insurgency appears to be more uniform. It would be interesting if this realistic aspect of unpredictability could reflected in gameplay! Splinty
One thing, the brown spots on the Hummer need to be darker. Sort of a chocolate color.

M1A1TC
Here what is added: Iraqi Police Pickup Truck Iraqi Police Combatant (Regular Police) Iraqi National Police (in brand new 2008 uniform) Iraqi police UAZ Iraqi police station Iraqi police high stone walls
ChrisND
Yay, now we have my old units most common mission. Bailing the police out of their assailed station.
Splinty
Now I can start doing scenarios about my whole last year in Baghdad, training the IPs and THEN bailing them out of trouble....
El Hombre
A nitpick: the arabic doesn't seem right on the UAZ's door. Is it supposed to say "Iraqi Police"? Right now as far as I can tell it's gibberish.
birdstrike
I LOVE this mod! Thanks alot, TC! btw, concerning the UAZ door writing, is it possible the writing is mirrored on the model?

(mod looks awesome, I agree)

Anyways. Very nice work. Can you do Iraqi army too?
M1A1TC
Yes, the writing I will fix, it does say "river resque, as I got it from a police patrol boat. So Ill get that fixed in 2.0 I am working on Iraqi Army as well.

handihoc
They look great, but I have a question. Are these police units substitutes/replacements for current army units, or can they exist as unique squads alongside army? If the latter, in what kind of scenarios will they appear?
Splinty
They look more like Iraqi National Police, which is a para-military police force under direct federal control, as opposed to the regular IPs.
M1A1TC
They are Iraqi National Police SWAT units, which replace CMSF Special Forces textures. The other Iraqi Police are regular urban police units, which replace CMSF Combatant textures. You could for example create a scenario where Iraqi SWAT and regular police units with US Army support fight Iraqi Insurgents (CMSF fighters) Some of my inspiration photos
