Criticism towards CMAK

"Borg Spotting:

This term derives from the Star Trek series on television. The Borgs were an android race, relentless and all-knowing which bedeviled Captain Picard and the Enterprise."

Well, there's proof - if proof were needed - that we're all a bunch of dorks! ;):D

As to 'Borg spotting" that term was coined back in the CMBO days when spotting in the game felt totally binary. Since then the game engine has progresses markedly. CMAK, from my seat-of-the-pants playtesting, seems to be considerably less 'Borg" than good-old CMBO was.

Try taking a CAREFUL (read: at level 1) look at the terrain coming down the djebel in Fruhlingswind. There's one quite concealed path and several moderately concealed ones. Using it to your advantage is left as an exercise for the reader.

Your eye for terrain just has to be much sharper than it did in CMBB

Amazing how you can do this commander's recce without any interference. A crucial part of the commander tasks to look at the ground himself, but quite funny when you can see at an instant every dip and fold on the entire map. How about some sort of graduated detailing of terrain by range based on yopur most forward unit?

I've been on dates, amigo. Have you? Ever kissed a girl?

If there's one thing that drives me up the wall it's when people, who don't know what they're talking about, assume that it was Captain Kirk in command during the Borg episodes. It was Jean Luc Picard! Duh.

BUZZZZZZ!

Wrong!

First encounter (encounter provided by the ever helpful Q) was with Picard in command. It wasn't until after the second encounter (when Picard gets captured) that Riker is in command
