Engine: Current

Synopsis: Allow multiple interceptions against an enemy air raid

Design Summary:

If there are multiple defenders which haven't been activated, than allow those defenders to intercept the enemy air raid

If a player has several fighter and antiair-units which could intercept an enemy airraid, than allow the player to choose if one, two or all of his nearby units should intercept the attack.

There is no reason why an antiair-unit shouldn't fire just because there was already a air-to-air battle. There is no reason why a fighter unit shouldn't attack a bomber unit just because there had already accured a fighterbattle between escorting fighters and a friendly fighter. Just give the players the choice how many escorts and how many interceptors should go with or against a bombing attack.

Right now a single escort (ONE) is enough to allow a bomber an undisturbed bombing run.

This ONE escort fights against ONE enemy interceptor, forbidding with this fight any else unit to do anything against the bomber. Even if there are 3, 4 or 5 enemy air units or one or two additional antiair-units which haven't fought this round. They stay on the ground, they clean their flak, but god forbid that they start to do anything against the enemy bomber.

After all, this bomber is not allowed to be attacked when ONE lousy escort opend fire to protect the flight.

Let players choose how important an attack or a defense is, and how many fighters or AA-Guns he might want to use to bring the bomber to its target or to deny a bomber a target.

Allow players to abort a bombing run if the player think it might be to dangerous to proceed the flight.

Create a chance that the scond interception might not find the bomber or miss them. Increase the chance with every further interception.

Problem 1: introducing this feature to the AI, so that it might use not senseless
