Battle Video Recorder

Recommended Posts

I am wondering if it possible to record the whole battle by, for example merging all rounds in one, so that you can watch the whole action, every detail of them, you can study it after action and share it with friends, and most important, you will be able to edit war movie at home.

So, could BattleFront or any authorized third party make it possible?

This is probably the most requested feature that BFC is asked to provide. The current game engine can not be modified, within reason, to provide a full game movie. It should be available in the new game engine, which is a couple of years off.

Of course, what would be really killer would be the ability to wander in 3D over the entire battle movie, just as we can now in the individual moment segments. That would rock! :D

(I'm an old fart...is "rock" the appropriate word to use here? :D:D

if they indeed finally make such a feature on the next game you will most likely be able to move around the camera during replay cause you are able to do it now.

Otherwise they probably have to do a top down view cause other than that they will run the problem of views being blocked especially on city battles if they opt for static camera view.
