Wolfe
The first installment of the CMAK unit database has now been uploaded. It's still a work in progress and only contains the tanks chart thus far. I tried to make it as accurate as possible, but if you see any errors, please let me know. Thanks. Chris' CM Database - Chris The CMBO and CMBB databases can also be found on the above site. [Edit] Changed title to something more useful. BulletRat
Nice work dude, I'd like to see an online/html version done - and even started one myself for CMBB, but ran out of time and interest.
crom
Has anyone ever taken the time to build a proper, searchable database for all of this information? If there is a need, I wouldn't mind taking a stab at it, and then putting an HTML front-end on it so that its easy to query for information...
Wolfe
Thanks! Glad you like it. I haven't bothered with an HTML version as I don't want to keep up with it, no matter how automated it might be. If someone wants to do so, feel free. But be aware that the only conversion that I know of is someone who translated the CMBB stuff into French. It's an awful lot of work, which is why most don't bother. I also update whenever I find mistakes, which adds to the annoyance factor. - Chris
Herr Kruger
Which versions of Excel are these compatible with? Nothing shows up in the fields on Excel 2002 here at work. J Kruger

I wrote an app for CMBB that parsed Chris' excel files and presented all the data in a sortable listview. Kinda useful when making force selections. Would work for CMAK assuming the format of the excel spreadsheets hasn't changed radically. Probably should have developed it a little further (it was pretty basic), though being on holiday at the moment I guess I could find the time...
Wolfe
The gun penetrations table has now been added. Yay! And a few corrections were made to the tanks chart: * Added Tungsten ammo to German Panzer IIC, Panzer IIF, 222 AC and 222 AC late, 231 AC, and 232 AC. * Changed caliber-length on US M3 Medium late. The new L/40 designation may or may not be more correct, but it helps distinguish it from the L/38 of the Sherman gun. * Corrected availability date of Australian forces. * Corrected caliber-length on Cruiser Mk IV CS. Originally posted by BrokenNails: Would work for CMAK assuming the format of the excel spreadsheets hasn't changed radically. The only significant change is for the multi-gun AFVs; I used two rows to list the info, which might be problematic. - Chris

Leopard
I ordered CMAK 4 days ago after the demo kept me sleepless wanting it. I have active games in CMBO, but can't wait for the new one. Anyway, I have used your Excel charts Chris and really appreciate them. I already have the CMAK version (and the game patch) if the postman would just deliver my freaking CD...The charts help a lot, especially in the beginning when you can't figure out why your Sherman's shells seem like they say in Morse Code to a Panther "OVER HERE...YEA YOU...KILL ME OR I'LL CHIP OFF SOME MORE PAINT" .

Wolfe
On Guns Chart: * Added Valentine X gun to the guns charts; I didn't realize it was different from the Valentine XIII and Valentine IX. * Clarified 6pdr gun entry to include Valentine XIII and Valentine IX. * Clarified US 57mm gun entry to read US 57mm AT gun. * Corrected availability date for tungsten on US 57mm AT gun.
