By the way there is a own link to find opponents.... You go to main page under "Ligen" - "Gegnersuche" and fill the fields below.... which is... Dragonheart Posted December 18, 2003 Author Share Posted December 18, 2003 you dont need to read this...it´s concerning all games played in this league...the procedure for SC is quite simple..you will see. The best thing at the moment is that you ask or arrange all things with your opponents. If you have questions just ask in the forum or ask me. The only thing you will have to know is that in this league the winner must make the report so you will possibly have alot to do The best possible result is a 22:4 (points) you will receive this if you win both sides of a mirrorgame all other results are a bit more complicated. To look for opponents you can also contact ppl via Email which have the english flag in their profile. As soon you have your first points you will find your name under Ligen - Gesamtligen - 1.,2,3, League depending how many points you have and under "ligen" - "Einzelligen" "strategic Command" the First one is the total league where all games are rated and the other one is the SC only league. You will climb the ladder not by beating the higher ranked ppl but by points you gain by any victory or even loss. So if Terif doesnt want to play you it´s no problem to get the first rank if you have collected enough points... Feldtrompeter Posted December 18, 2003 Share Posted December 18, 2003 Hi Rambo The possible outcomes (in points) in a PL-SC-mirrorgame are as follows: 22:4 if you win both games (one as Axis and one with the Allies). 15:6 If you win one game and play a draw in the other. 13:9 If you win one game and loose the other but accomplish your victory faster. 10:10 if both win their game in the same turn. 9:9 if both games end up as a draw. Feldtrompeter Posted December 18, 2003 Share Posted December 18, 2003 And there is one thing to be aware of in the PL: The league was made to have fun and enjoy the games and not to annoy others by using gamey tactics. That's why several "features" of SC are forbidden except the players agree to allow them. 1) Rom-Gambit (strickly forbidden). 2) Benefiting from the AA-Bug. 3) Attack coastal ground forces with Carriers. 4) Transport and unload in one turn. (London, Kiel, Manchester, etc.) 5) Using ports to attack with maximum attack values. 6) Air attacks on HQs. Terif lost 4 games in total so far IIRC and Rambo got 50% of those games on his account. Especially if he is on vacation, has had enough sleep and listens to Nena's 99 Luftballons. The ground units have to be on the Coast or how about inland? 4) One-Turn Load/Unload on the same turn? Is that only for attacking? 5) Using ports to attack? In my last game I simply mentioned to my opponent that I don't mind allowing the other "features" and since he did not complain, only RRI is forbidden in our game. It's thus simple. I have not played a game yet in the PL where any of 2) - 6) wasn't allowed. Concerning: 2) AA-Bug is not banned. It is up to the players. But before you haven't talked to your opponent and made sure that it's ok with him, you are not allowed to cause interception while benefiting from AA. Of cause you can research AA and use it for defense only. 3) I don't know myself. They have worded it kind of loose and I can't tell you for now. But I have asked them in the PL forum, so no need to worry about RACK for know. 4) No, that's in general. But remember it's up to the players wheather they allow it or not. 5) You can't send your troops located at a port into sea-transporters and unload them in the same port at the same turn just to increase their attack value. But you may unload units send in from other ports and attack imediatelly. 6) It's up to the players to allow it or forbid it. Feldtrompeter PS: Sorry, I don't know the movie. Rambo ... as we play according to PL rules (mirrored game) let´s play both side with the same bid, because without bid it´s senseless for the allied player. What about 300/3000 fixed bid for both? But there is no reason to get banned from there exept you do something wrong or forbidden. In the PL nobody is obliged to play ppl he dont like to play so there will be no problem with you and Terif....you will live in a coexistenz. The one who plays and wins most is first. By they way there are 2 different leagues where ppl can participate. There is a main league where all ppl play and the other one is some kind of champinionship... starting once a year. In this league ppl must play ag each other twice a year. But for this one its already to late to sign in as it already started....on the other hand its maybe better as there is only place for one of you terif or zapp..... And please...do not bring your personal disput with Terif to the PL ..this really make no sense anymore.
