Rambo has to withdraw due to computer problem.

We will most certainly miss him in the tournament as he is one of the great ones but we have another very good player to come in and fill

Friendlyfire will take his place

Friendly please get with Panzer and get your matches underway.

Hope the games continue to go well. Keep at it all.

I will be away from the computer for a few days, have to drive 1000 miles to go to my wife's 50th anniversary and then 1000 miles back on Saturday nigth. Yes, I'm married and whipped.

Additional Update

Yaggmouth defeats Sanmayn.

7 of 8 first round matches are completed.

This was a wierd match from what I can tell. Sanmayn was winning close to taking Paris. However, he left Rome open and an allied corps took Rome and knocked the Italians out of the war which I guess meant it took him longer to take Paris. Sounds like a fun match.

For those still playing, if you would post an update on your game so we know where you are.

Alexander and myself are playing mirror games. We are at move 17 and both of the French Defenses are starting to weaken. It will be interesting to see which of us gets to Paris first.

UPDATE

Two of the second round matches are close to being finished.

AVATAR AND EDWIN I sent you and email. We need a report on your game and to come up with some way to finish it or advance one of you or something else. Your game is still the only fist round game not completed.
