Wanted-Operation/Filthy Weather/Historical

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for an operation to play PBEM and I'm in the mood for some filthy weather. I'm also always interested in historical conflicts.

Got any suggestions? I've been through the Scenario Depot.

Try 'KP-Tank Warning' By Franko at Boots & Tracks, the weather is set to variable, the instructions state for historical accuracy, to keep starting the game until you get rain & fog. It's the Prokorovka battle & the weather simulates the thunderstorms & the smoke.

It's a long & very bloody op

Dirty weather?

Small Operations, Saar Bridgehead 1944, snow, ice and fog. Historic

A new operation going up today, Small Operations Bishenpur, Burma PTO. Historic, has mixed weather. Brit/Gurkha vs Japanese combat in Burma, partially in the Monsoon season. Both Brits and IJA have tanks in this one. Historic

Thanks for the input. I should have mentioned that it needs to be CMAK.

Hans, I think I'm in the middle of another opperation you designed, Operation Sea Lion.

It is difficult to look through all the games you all have designed out there, this really helps.

OK, I've been away from CM for a little while, but this is a bot surprising to me...

I was not aware that CMAK could do Western Front stuff like Wacht am Rein. Am I incorrect?

Thanks Sergio,

No, it's not for the faint hearted!

Weather is terrible and casualties will be heavy for both sides.

Post here or Email me and I'll send it... (email in profile)

"B&T Peiper's Bridge"

3 battles, 15+ turns a piece.

The US 82nd Airborne under Colonel Reuben Tucker assault Kampfgruppe Peiper's bridgehead over the Ambleve at Cheneux.

Tucker was desperate to eliminate the German hold on the town and the bridge... regardless of the cost! Peiper's SS, were bitterly determined to hold it...

I've got a dozen or so in the pipe line at the moment but would like to do a number of smaller Dutch ones both for May 1940 and in DEI during 1942.

Oh did two Dutch ones while you were busy, Small Battles, IJA Airborne P1 PTO (Palembang Sumatra) and a campanion battle Small Battles, Blood for Oil, PTO
