Cauldron
Hy, I was wondering if it is possible to do the following: Situation: Stationary AFV with infantry on top. The AFV is to move 100m up a hill (say) and disembark the squad 10 m further ahead. Quite often the squad will disembark before the AFV moves.... A solution > I would also be interested to hear any " fine tuning" that has worked using the pause command. ta
Silvio Manuel
I think you're supposed to give the squad a "pause" before the disembark order such that they'll try to hop off around when the AFV reaches the desired drop-off site. You'll have to switch the AFV's speed from fast move to either move/hunt/total stop to allow the troops to disembark. OTOH, I'm pretty sure troops won't embarkif the AFV has any move order that turn...not too sure 'bout that though. Moon
Use the full 60 seconds of your action replay. Give a pause command to the vehicle, so that it arrives at the desired disembark spot at the end of the turn. Have the infantry hop off at the beginning of the turn while giving a pause order to the vehicle for 20 seconds - it will remain in place (although the move order is active), and the infantry will hop off in the meantime.
