Guest Ol' Blood & Guts
Now my question is...From where and how could the Allies assault this DAM? It takes up the whole DAM battlefield!
Guest Madmatt
Well I was going to originally put in a few little assault boats in the lake but to be honest I forgot about them. I guess either an airborne drop (going to be nasty with that AAA though) or a waterborn assualt up the causeway... I have some new ideas on tweaking this baby even more and I will probably extend the map to make it 'playable' as a fun little battle! Dmeek
This is an innanely stupid question, but can you drive a vehicle of the edge of the dam, (or cliff, or steep slope) and if so, does the vehicle become damaged or does it just keep on truckin? Guest Madmatt
I THINK ( i am not sure though) that the TACAI steps in and keeps moronic driving like that from happening. But I will try it out later tonight and see what happens! Madmatt COMING SOON! DAM AGAIN!!! Version II of the DAM DAM... Now with more Hoover like features!!! (Cause I cant find any pictures of the Roer Dams!) ------------------ If it's in Combat Mission, it's on Combat Mission HQ! combathq.thegamers.net [This message has been edited by Madmatt (edited 04-11-2000).]

Bigggie
I realize that the incline would be too steep for a vehicle to drive up, but what about infantry. Could a unit run up/scale the wooded/grassy inclines on the sides of the dam?
jdmorse
how about mountain troops rappelling? Now that'd be a sight!
RobVarak
Madmatt, I believe that I have some pics of the Roer dams somewhere. I'll dig 'em out tonight. FWIW, I don't think you're too far off with what you did. I'm still amazed! ------------------ Rob Varak Editor Site on Sound: The Web's Premier Site For Musical Discussion www.siteonsound.com
