Aachen Campaign Mission 2 Bugged Bridge

Watch out when trying to pass the bridge undearneath with vehicles at the Station Underpass objective. My Sherman teleported onto the top of the bridge, was trapped there, and got taken out by a AT gun.

Keep a save and pass it forward to the devs. Bridge bugs have been notoriously hard to crush so any saves will help us finally being rid of them.

I remember that mission. Luckily for me instead of advancing right across the map, I threw everything down the right, thus avoiding that bridge.

Same here - I just squeezed a victory in that mission when I was testing it.

Just one thing to ask. You say that your tank "was trapped there". But you don't say for how many turns, or if you tried to "untrap it". When this kind of things happens to me I give my tanks a reverse command. They don't back off of the bridge but will reverse along the railway track at a 90 degree angle. Then at the start of the next turn I can move them forward down off of the railway embankment. It might not work on all maps, but it is something to think about for the future.

I've learned since to put some "Heavy Rocks"  (impassable to vehicles) around the entrance of those odd, landed bridges. Keeps the scamps off.

Sorry for any lost tankers.
