Majick
Hello All, In this scenario I can't move the 37mm infantry gun and can't fire it either, even when it can see a target. Has anyone else had more luck?
user1000
Could not move it as well, I tried to get the truck driver to run to is truck and reverse so maybe I could tow it but he never made it back. Never saw it fire but saw impacts from which I assume it was engaging targets way up there.
Warts 'n' all
I know that Bootie posted a video of "Two Crowns", or ten bob as we called them if we were ever lucky enough to have two. I can't remember all the details but you might want to check it out and see what kind of luck he had with the Mountain Gun. It does have a 5 minute pack up time which is something to take into account if you try to move it.
Majick
Ah right if it was 5 minutes maybe I gave up too quickly. I managed to finish anyway, although my force was totally immolated.
MikeyD
In the Allied orders for that scenario it advises you to *un-deploy* the weapon before startup in order to avoid the long pack-up time so you can immediately shift its location. Some weapons systems in CM have painfully long pack-up times, like the TOW missile launcher in CMSF2.
MikeyD
I just watched Bootie's four 'Two Crowns' videos detailing the battle on his Youtube channel. It was a fun watch. It was especially fun hearing the sound of desperation in his voice near the end (chuckle chuckle).
Erwin
IIRC support weapons have set-up and pack-up times in their info window at the bottom info window. Was that not the case with this gun?

Was that not the case with this gun? It is the case with this gun. I don't own "Rome to Victory". And found out about it's 5 minute pack-up time from Bootie's "Ten Bob" videos.
