fulgentius
Hi, New CM player here, just bought CMFI. Loving it so far. I've searched around a bit, but most of the answers I can find to this question are rather old and sometimes have broken links. Also, the mod sites don't seem to have ratings or anything like that. So hopefully it's ok if I ask this here. As a new player to the whole series, what are some mods I should install? Also, while I'm here, I might as well ask if anyone has recommended tutorial resources. It's a steep learning curve. Thanks!
Warts 'n' all
With regards CM in general anything by Aris is worth having. Also, keep in mind that the mods site is in the middle of a massive update. For example the most recent update for CMFI has been for the Polish forces. I would suggest that you look at both cmmods iii and iv to find what you might like. If you look at the "General Discussion" page, there is a recent thread started by "Bootie" the great bloke who hosts the mod website. A Canadian Cat - was IanL
Also there is a lot you could read in the FAQ section: It has a tactical tips section but not a list of learn to play or learn tactics - perhaps I should add that. But scan through it and read things that you are interested in and revisit it after a few weeks - you will probably find more you want to read then
