Sequoia
IIRC the USMC does not use division or otherwise shoulder patches. Please let me know the standard for the combat uniforms of other counties if you have that info. Thanks
Combatintman
UK Left arm Union Flag Formation Insignia Right Arm Tactical Recognition Flash (TRF) Formation Insignia Reference (scroll down to Modern): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brigade_insignia_of_the_British_Army#Modern TRF Reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tactical_recognition_flash
CMFDR
Germany National flag usually on both upper arms (at the very least on the right), sometimes with "Germany" above it. Custom insignia on right upper arms (usually the mission's insignia, units' insignia doesn't seems to be worn on the combat dress. Until proven otherwise.)
CMFDR
Netherlands Kind of the same deal than with the Bundeswehr, could be more granularity as egulations doesn't seems to be that much enforced there. ("Holland" is a, common, mistake)
Sequoia
@Combatintman In 2008 was the 16th Air Assault still using the older patch?
CMFDR
Combatintman may confirm or infirm that during Operation Herrick VIII (01/04/2008 - 01/10/2008), they seems to have been wearing the desert subdued one. https://www.paradata.org.uk/event/afghanistan-operation-herrick-viii Edited February 8, 2019 by CMFDR
Combatintman
Yeah it would have been the old one rather than the revived Pegasus insignia worn these days.
DougPhresh
These are basically the same patches I had with ISAF: Canadian IR Flag, Canadian IR Patch, Task Force Patches A lot of guys had CP Gear patches on ARPAT backings, but depending on your command you might get jacked up.http://www.cpgear.com/blank/Branches-Brigades-Services-Corps-?c=3957968
