I am looking for a mod

Hello
I want to start "for the king and the country"
and then it's the drama !!!
My soldiers wear badges of the wessex division with the yellow vouivre
I remember seeing in the old combat mission website, the mods of the Northumbrian division but also of the Staffordshire division, Welsh, Highland, Scottish and the 3rd identity card
but these mods are not found on CMMOD'S III
Anyone know where I can find this mods?

I recall those mods.  I am surprised they were not copied when FGM migrated them from the old BF repository to GAJ / CMMODSIII.
I thought the old repository was archived by Battlefront somewhere offline.  Until we find it, these may interest you.

  1. Rifle Brigade mod CM:CW 2.00, by Blimey        http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=1495
  2. Veins CW Uniforms, by Vein           http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=1155
  3. benpark’s British Infantry and AFV Crews   http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=1110

thank Badger but it's the ones with the different divisions and especially the 50th TT that interests me, just to have the right insignia corresponding to the scenario

I have them.  I have a shyteload of British mods. Actually I believe I have every mod ever released for almost all of the CMx2 titles. How to get them to you is the question. Canadians/Brits mod folder is 5.26 gigs!

I will have to download them when possible
it's just those concerning the badge badge that interests me

I'm just uploading them all to Google Drive. I'm writing a note explaining that I have no idea which are from what version on CMBN, and that any made in v.1 will have to be renamed to the newer naming protocol.  There are about 20 zip files from DC (Dark Canuck) covering 2nd, 3rd, 3rd Cdn and 6th Airborne divisions.

Okay, the name of the GDrive folder is "British Uniform Mods for CMBN"; hopefully the link below works. The mods are in zip files. There are two by Benpark, the Carpiquet Mod is by Ithikial, and the ones starting with "DC" are by Dark Canuck. I don't know who any of the other ones were made by. Any of these mods that were made in version 1 of CMBN will need to be renamed appropriately to conform with current naming conventions. Mord informs me that the DC ones will have to be renamed.

You'll have to rename them if they are DC's old mod. They were made before the 2.0 naming convention change. Unless Mj already did.

Mord.

That would explain why they were not migrated to to CMMODSIII.  FGM only transferred CM mods which would work post v2.0.  Good catch.  Thanks, @Mord

yes thank you

for rename isn't a problem
i modifying every and i tag the mod for each scenario

@Falaise - If you are going to rename all those file names to their current values, would you consider uploading to CMMODSIII (http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/) when done?  Good luck and thank you.

You're welcome.

But there is a catch, fellas. Some of DC's mods were made using hex edits so even when renamed they will not work correctly. The easiest way to figure out which ones, will be to look for beret bmps named as helmet textures. He did some model swapping for units that would traditionally wear berets in place of helmets and I believe Infantry uniforms instead of tank overalls or vice versa (been a long time). The standard infantry unis should just need renaming, though.

I'd take a look but I have way too much going on with other modding stuff to get side tracked.

For King and Country is a CMBN Commonwealth campaign that follows the actions of the 1 Regiment Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry from their landings at Gold Beach on the Normandy coast on June 6th, 1944 and the hard fought battles through France until June 26, 1944.

(...)

Mods:

As is common for most of my campaigns I use featured mods by some of our very talented modders of the CM series. Below is a list and all credit goes to them.

1. Aris Vehicle Textures (I have modified a few with the (hopefully) correct unit symbols or to represent damaged or destroyed vehicles

2. Mords Unit ID (The featured British units (except non core armor units) have the correct ID patches that will show up in the UI)

3. Various terrain modifications

4. EZJax CMBN Uniform Heer (Lehr)

5. EZJax CMBN Uniform SS

All mods needed are included with the download and are tagged to this campaign so they should not interfere with any other scenarios or campaigns.

@Falaise and all, seems like Dragonwyn conveniently zipped everything we need and put a link, that still works, in his OP.
