A Canadian Cat
I'll take it somewhat serious then. Given that CM runs on machines with cards designed in the mid 2000, that is approx ten year old cards. If they keep to that kind of backwards compatibility then support or these new cards rather amazing capabilities should be something that can be added to the engine in 2028 or so. Possibly later just so we don't have CM6 cutting out a bunch of us old farts that are still running machines that we upgraded in 2017.

A Canadian Cat
LOL I would much rather see ray tracing graphics. To me that is a far higher priority. And just to be clear I actually consider the need for ray tracing graphics to be a really low priority
HerrTom
It would do wonders for CM's flat lighting for sure. But my (serious) hope for the next CM is physically based rendering. I think it'd really allow textures in CM to pop!
