CMRT Module 1 Bones

Recommended Posts

Steve had posted elsewhere that it takes an average of a year and a half to get a project to completion. But that year and a half  is not a single block of time. If the project gets interrupted by CMSF2, then CMFI R2V, then V4 game engine enhancements, then 'government work' only seen by the staff, then that 'year and a half' gets cut up into separate chunks with long gaps in between. The biggest culprit for the delay is CMFI 'Rome to Victory' module which turned into a nine nation hydra-headed monster. The module is very impressive but geez, it was a struggle. In the meantime, CMRT 'Fire and Rubble' module  has been worked on, and worked, on and worked on some more until there's little left to be worked on.

Great explanation MikeyD. Thanks

Looking forward to CMFI R2V...a nine nation hydra-headed mega monster of WWII regions, settings, equipment, troops, etc. . That is going to offer HUGE options with so many detailed services and equipment.

We can even use them as Tito's Partisans.

They'll need some tanks.....I'd particularly love to have these (I believe they made a couple or more):

Yugoslavian Stuart/Marders are cool too:

Good article on the various Yugoslavian Stuart conversions here:  https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/light-tank-m3a1-a3-in-yugoslav-service/

I knew about the mortar carrier, but the Stu(art)IG-33 is a new one on me!  :o

I wonder if one of the Mod-Making Mad-Scientists could somehow graft a Wirbelwind onto a Stuart?  :P

@Aquila-CM.....Fancy a challenge?  ;)

Not meant to be a serious attempt to accurately recreate the vehicle from the picture but just for tutorial purposes.

I dont´t plan to release it and deleted it  but there was not much work put into it anyways. A serious attempt would require some further work and considerations about which vehicle to replace. Latter would also be important when it comes to turret crew visibility and their animation position.

Yes you are right, this one must remain only a good reference model for possible realizations, Blender in a good hand,  seem to be without limit, thank you again to let us discover, it was very interesting to follow step by step the differents phases.
